Today would be an awesome day with this cold front that came through last night. Highs in the 30s. But it is supposed to warm up again starting Wednesday. Maybe this weekend will present a chance

Well we are finally getting some real rain. And it was long past due. The lake is 50 feet lower at the dam than it was this time last year and we had power outages due to the generators not all being ran. If the water level got much lower they would have to shut down another generator.
We are finally getting a lot of rain and the lake is starting to come up. The first 5 to 7 feet will be pretty fast as it is so low it is filling the bottom part. But all of this rain will really help.

Ron
Just heard that your drought could be the worst in 1,200 years. You remember that ?
Now just what are the odds of that happening twice in your lifetime ?
Even in my long lifetime I have never seen a drought like this one. I am hoping that these storms will signal an end to it. It is supposed to be raining right now but all we have had so far today is a mist.
Good news if it happens. We are supposed to have heavy rain Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday all day. The ground id now soaked enough that it will really help.
That's good Ron. We don't have much forcasted here. We could really use it. Lakes now have tall grasses and even a few young trees where there used to be deep water.

We have had more rain in the last few days than we have had in two years combined. Yesterday was really something but the rain was spotty. One place would get 4 inches and a mile from there they would get 1 inch. The worst thing was the wind. It blew hard all day with gusts up to 75/80 MPH.
Good luck. I hope that you don't get the wind as well. We really got off easy so far as not losing power by trees being blown over. But I have just never liked wind and especially when it is accompanied by rain.
Well I got the news on my right shoulder yesterday after three weeks of pain and two days of doctor and X-Rays. I have arthritis really bad and the shoulder joint is deteriorating the bone. Shots and medicine as I am way to old to think about surgery. It will hurt from now on and especially when I drive the Coupe and Cobra and have to shift, but I am not going to let that stop me from driving them

Ron, I had my right shoulder joint replaced when I was 67. One of the more
intelligent things I have done in my life. The recovery took some time but
now I have full use of my arm and no pain. If you have insurance you might
check it out. I got tired of gritting my teeth and having minimal use of my arm
so had the surgery and haven't look back.
