Rain has stopped but the wind is blowing. However it is still quite cool. But tomorrow is supposed to be nice. Maybe even driving weather.

I went out and got some gas. Felt like putting some anti-freeze inside me. Temp at 51 ºF so ride was 15 minutes long. Just long enough.
Tomorrow at 62 º and Sunday at 67 ºF. Mucho more betterer!

Good to see you back. We have missed you. Keep us up to date on what you are doing these days. Warren just rides and takes pictures. Tru is getting his where he can start driving it just in time to use it as a snow plow. Kristen is so busy she hardly has time to stop to eat.
We are having Fall weather here for the first time in a long time. Normally it goes straight from the 115+ right into the 40/60 degrees. It has rained a little but not a lot. did get some of the smoke out of the air.

Funny. You are making a funny.
Yes, it is true there was a good frost last night and it was cool, we people in Michigan had to put on a long sleeve shirt. But, it is going to be a nice day today...may even hit 60.
Good morning to you all.

Tru,
Sounds as if you have a great day ahead of you. I have been wearing a long sleeve shirt the past few days. This bitter cold 50 degrees is really hard on us. But that is a big drop from the humid 119 degree weather just a very short time ago and it takes time to get used to it.

hi, Gary. hi, Mike. Nice to see you both jump in for a quick visit.
The football game thing wasn't too bad. There were only two 'episodes' I was concerned about. There are thousands of fingerprints, though.
This huge guy got in, and I was very concerned he would break the back of the seat when he plopped down, and I also said every five seconds, don't pull on the windshield when you hoist yourself outta there. (i didn't say that, exactly, but I wanted to just get a crane to lift him straight up) he did manage to get out, on his own accord. ugh.
A little kid stood up on the seat, and stepped on the door (fortunately it was closed) and used it as a 'jump off' to jump over the door. I went up to him and said don't do that again!!! I haven't inspected it in the light, but I think he'll polish up ok. Raised the hood a few times (between pics), and even parents from the opposing team came over and took a look! It was fun!!!
The mustang (Gus) has been asked to participate in the homecoming parade. Poor Pepe. They have these Route 66 signs they want to use, and of course they are the kind that 'stick' to the side of the car. They wouldn't 'stick' to Pepe, cuz' he's not steel!! oops!! Maybe I'll let David drive Pepe with a homecoming 'maid' riding on him. nah....
tonight is the Dallas group's monthly meet. We are doing a dinner in North Dallas. I bet there are 30 folks or more there. Sounds like a good turnout, based on the thread in the Texas forum.
well, gotta go. have a great day!
K

When I read you were taking HH2 to a high school football game all kind of images came to mind.
Turned out better than I thought it would.Think I would have ended up in trouble after that kid used the door as a springboard.
Todays weather : High mid-80's,light ESE wind and clear.
Upper 70's for the meeting at 7 PM.
I'll put your present from the beach in the Cobra this morning so I don't forget.

Josh has Drumline competition this morning.
Tonight is their Home Coming Dance.
For some reason he thinks taking his girlfriend of 1 year to the dance will be more fun than being around a bunch of Cobra guys.
Now where did I put that gift ?

23rd ride in 24 days. What a month. Gettin' cooooooollllll like Tru said. Temp was only 58 ºF when I went for a ride.
The temp this morning was only 40 ºF, and the heat came on. At least I did not get locked into a heating contract. Hope the prices continue to fall.
Temp now is only 46 ºF and predicted low of 37 ºF. Checked the anti-freeze this afternoon before I went for a short ride. Drove up to the Cable company to pay my overdue bill. $43 for cable internet connection and $65 for extended basic (no HBO, no Starz, etc). What a rip off!
Stopped at the local baseball field to take a couple of pics, just to make Tru mad (still waiting for Tru's pics of the trees). Four different cars stopped and everyone had a ton of questions. At least it was sunny. I had to wait about 15 minutes b/4 I could get a pic without someones a$$ sticking out over the drivers door.
Eight out of the next 9 days are supposed to be sunny.
Whats the record for most daily drives in a month?

Warren,
The record is 44. Some people went in the morning and again in the afternoon. You have to start driving more and faster if you want to break it before the cool weather gets there.

We have communicated our plan to 413 doves...all willing terrorist suicide bombers. When Dave is out hunting, 413 doves will dive and subsequently bomb.
Kristen, I just wanted to make a post that will have the feds going nuts. The only word I did not put in here is president, and I think I just did.
Well, I think today will be warm enough to take a drive. That and Homecoming is over. There are so many leaves and colors. It is going to be nice.
Crap, snow for Friday.
