Warren, I had no sun when I took the okie for a ride in the snow. Though I did wear a winter coat that night and ski gloves.

Just got back from a drive up to Sears to buy a pair of shoes. I seem to have the fan and charging problem fixed, but I think the thermostat housing has a small seep coming out of it as I find some water and anti freeze in the valley on top of the water pump right under it. Haven't been able to feel any wetness, but that is one of those hard to seal chrome housings and it has held without seeping since 1996, so I guess it is time to take it off and check the thermostat and replace the gaskets. I hate little stuff like that as it just drives me nuts. But the car ran great and I may have to adjust my fan thermostat setting back a little higher. I lowered it when I was testing the wiring and it wants to come on at around 185 now. I am not going to even try to figure out how he wired that toggle switch as it has two white wires that suddenly turn into other numbers and go off God knows where under the dash. I may just unplug them and see if anything stops working. If not, then I can run a couple of colored wires from the fans to the switch and I will know what I have.

I cannot let you get ahead of me in regards to rides. The weather was overcast today with no rain and high temp of 52 ºF.
So after lunch I went for a ride. Went back to that street with the red trees and bushes and took some pics from the other side of the trees (in a parking lot, rather than the street.

New pastor at my church about 300 yds from my house. This is one of the signs that has been posted in front. Some of the recent threads on CC could use a little of what the sign says.

Well,I didn't get a ride in today like Ron & Warren.
76* and P/C too.
I did sell 342 tons of my Virginia Runner peanuts and get a haircut though.
Ron,she even had to 'thin it' after cutting it.
Made my day.

Fred,
Just wait. Thinning your hair will cause it to all vanish. That is what started my baldness. The hair thinks you don't want it so it goes away. If you will have it thinned once a week I will pay for it.
Warren,
Great pictures as usual. When I went to Sears all I had was an empty parking lot with Sears in the background. I don't see how that store can stay open much longer as they hardly ever have more than a few cars in that huge lot now and before Walmarts and the others moved in you had trouble finding a place top park. Hate to see them go as I like their tools and other things.
Kristen,
I quit reading the controversial threads weeks ago. If some of them don't like this country then let them leave and go live with their Arab friends. No reason to read more as it is the same old B.S. over and over with certain opinions never changing no matter what the circumstances.

Darn, the wind is blowing like mad this morning. It was already going well at 2:30 when I got up and normally it doesn't start until day light gets here. Probably no ride today as my sinuses are really bad, and I feel like crap. Also have a headache. But at least I prefer this weather to the cold and snow.

Earl,
With weather like that, it is time for you to go driving. We will never catch up with Warren as I just can't take much of being out in the wind, even though it is in the low 80s in the afternoons.

I think Warren puts on more miles on his Cobra in a week than I do driving to work.

He makes a lot of short trips. But the miles do add up. He has to rush before the snow gets there. Then the rest of us can catch up.

Low 80's???????
Wanna trade for 54 ºF at 2 PM? May have to skip my daily ride.
Brent - about 3K miles so far this year in the Cobra. More miles than I put on my daily driver (Merc).

Warren,
Well this wind does do some good. I just saw some snow clouds blow over on their way East. They must have came from the Gulf of Alaska as the Mt. Shasta Goddess gets her nasty weather from there.

SNOW ???
Wash you mouth out with Mt Shasta Goddess water!
Of course, any of that solid white rain will most likely get dumped on Tru before it gets out here on the right coast.
Forecast for next 10 days has a high temp of only 54 ºF.
Guess its time to go down to Marthas Vineyard for a couple of weeks. Its warmer out there, but I'd have to leave the Cobra here at home. No garage on the island - need one for insurance coverage.
Woe is me. Maybe its time to take a loooooong drive down to Florida. Just drive the Cobra into a moving van and take off for the winter.

Darn, now you have made me hungry. guess I will have to go to Wendys later today.
Got this in an e-mail and thought it was nice.
Christmas Time At Arlington Cemetery
I have spent the last 13 years of my life handling, shipping and dispatching Worcester Wreath products each peak shipping season for L. L. Bean as they are a vender for Bean's Christmas catalog orders. They are truly a first class operation up there in Harrington and Columbia Falls. Typically, we ship over 500,000 wreath, center piece and Christmas tree orders for Bean from Worcester Wreath between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The loading docks are wonderfully perfumed with balsam for over a month. I only found out a couple of years ago that they do the graves at Arlington, but its good to see them get the national recognition for this that they so richly deserve.
