Not sure if you are a legitimate member or just another spammer trying to get started, but if you are actually serious, this would get a much better response if posted in the All Cobra Talk Forum. As for the batteries both Shelby and Kirkham still use those type, so you can contact them if no one one else answers you.

Long days and short nights. I have been working on a couple of projects. Both are very time consuming right now.

That is a good thing.....Yes?

Actually Steve I think long nights and short days would be more fun. Hope everything is going well for you and the family.

Well I had to rush one of my little dogs into emergency yesterday and I am not sure if he is going to make it. He never has cried and Saturday evening he started acting as if he was kind of dragging around. Sunday when I fed them he started crying and his stomach felt as if it was going to burst it was so tight. He wouldn't even lay down but just sit and cried and every time I touched him he would cry louder. I hope to hear something this morning by 10 AM.

Also the satellite receiver has a bad hard drive in it and the new one is scheduled to be here this evening and in the morning I have to go to my doctor to see if that culture showed what is infecting my leg. This is not starting off as a good week for me. But you know the old saying, the worse things look the better they will get. I hope that is so.

Thanks Tru,

You and your family have a great Thanksgiving. I think everyone around here has forgotten that it actually comes before Christmas.

Heck, I saw Christmas stuff for sale in the stores before Halloween.
When I was a little fellow many years ago the day after Thanksgiving was
when the Christmas push started. Now it is a 3 month event - no wonder
everyone is tired of it when it is over. Sad thing is, the reason for the season
is totally forgotten by most.

Very true. I always decorate the day after Thanksgiving, so I pulled the stuff down from storage this weekend and started sorting it. Got to go buy some replacement stuff yet this weekend, but hopefully by Sunday I will be done.

Tru,
I saw a Christmas Decoration for you at Micheal's this weekend. It was one of the lighted Grapevine Reindeer that you see everywhere, but it was just the Head and antlers mounted to a board.

Flip,

A few places around here start before Halloween. I really don't think many of the younger generation even know the true meaning of Christmas. Now it is all commercialized and about money. A few of the houses around here leave their lights up all year and just replace the bad ones.

Guilty:

Well we put up the outside lights on Sunday because the weather is expected to change here. I also have a very busy schedule for the next three weeks, so I wanted to get it done while we had a little time.

The inside will not be decorated until the week after Thanksgiving. We wait until after our son's birthday to decorate inside for Christmas. That way we can make his birthday a special day for him also.

Hope everyone is OK

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Ron, how do I get a signoff line?

You put your name. I want to put something.

But everytime I tried in the signature, it didn't appear.

Joe,

Not well. I went and brought him home this morning as their X-Ray machine broke and they won't have it working until next week. He is still really hurting and just cries and won't hardly move. I am going to take him in on the evening of the 30th and leave him overnight so they can watch him and not feed him as he needs to go for 12 hours with no food before the tests. They gave me some pain medicine but it doesn't seem to really be doing much good. First off this happens on Sunday and I have to pay the big emergency fee plus they can't do anything until next Tuesday. That darn X-Ray machine would have to pick this week to break. Ken said he would be as comfortable here at home as he is up there laying in a cage and I don't have to pay for all that boarding, but his crying is not helping my nerves. I wish pets could talk and tell you what hurts.

I know what you mean. Seems like we can communicate with them when things are good, but when it really matters it is just frustrating. I hope things look up quickly for him.

Well it will be at least next Tuesday before they can even start to check him. He is just laying around and whimpers quite a bit as I know he is hurting but the pain medicine seems to help. I really suspect that left hind leg, knee, hip, or the backbone in that area as that was where she hit him when they were little and that is what caused his knee cap to slide out of place at times. I think this time he must have twisted some of that area when they were playing Saturday. It is this stupid waiting that really gets to me. Patience is not one of my stronger things.

Well here it is Friday and I hope that all of you had a great day yesterday. I can't sleep at all because of my nerves and worrying about Frenchy, but otherwise it was a good day for me. And I probably added another couple of pounds to make up the two that I had lost. Nerves tend to cause me to lose weight. Now I am only 35 pounds over what I used to be.
