Hey Tru,

Well yesterday was a very nice day and it got up to 62°. Today is supposed to be 60° and the tomorrow in the upper 50s then back to showers on Wednesday. But that sure beats your 5 and 9 degree weather. Hope that yours improves soon.

They are forcasting the coldest air since the mid 90's here starting on Thursday. I tell you what, this Global Warming sure is getting me down, these increased temperatures are.... wait, what? It is getting colder, but that doesn't fit. I suggest we change the data and say it is in the 70's. Put that in the record books and we will have the warmest winter on record.

P.S. I think I am going to apply for government grant money for "Climate Research" now.

Joe,

We are supposed to have days in the 60s until Wednesday when there is a chance of showers. Yesterday it was 62° and this the day after a cold mist and top of 47°. I can't keep up with the darned changes.

36 is the high today, 40s the next couple of days, but not supposed to be above freezing Thursday, and not out of the 30s on Friday but then back up into the 40s for a while. We will see if the weather guessers finally got one close yet or not.

Another nice day for today if they are correct but light showers for tomorrow. They say we are going to have a cold but drier than normal Winter here. After 4 years of below normal rainfall and snow, another Winter of drought will just about empty the lake next Summer.

Tru,

I think I know why. The nice sunny day we were supposed to have today is overcast and pretty cool. I saw on the news that we are about 1 1/2 degrees below the average for this time of year. Amazing at what Global Warming can accomplish.

Tru,

Our weather is as confusing as yours. One day it is in the mid 60s and the next day it is in the low 40s. Today it is supposed to rain, or be sunny, or have light showers, or be overcast and cool. About the only thing they have gotten right is it is going to be another cold and dry Winter here. Rainfall is already over 60% below normal for this time of year and this is the 4th year in a row. Snow pack is around 10' at the deepest places and it should be 20' to 35' at this time. Plus the warm days melt a lot of what is there and it just runs off so there won't be any for Next summer. We have set two record low temperatures so far. Global Warming is really something isn't it.

Tru,
I would only wish harsh winter on you if you packed up and shipped your Cobra to me for winter storage. Then I would hope for long winters in MI. Since you are not, there is no reason for me to wish it.

Joe,

I am sure that Tru would gladly ship you his snow and cold weather for the Winter.

Well so much for our rain yesterday. It was overcast and cool all day but no rain. Today is supposed to be mostly sunny and in the upper 50s. Hope they are right as I need to get out and pick up a lot of small limbs and stuff the wind has blown into my yards and when it dries out I am going to have to mow.

Just poking a little fun your way Joe, Steve and Ron.

We are supposed to get a snow storm late this afternoon and through the night.

I got a fitup on Friday, so I can see me leaving the house at 5:30 am to get here by 7.

I talked to Blair about hunting in Australia. It sounds very exciting.

You all keep warm.

Tru,

What are you going to hunt in Australia? That would be a fun trip for almost any reason.

I am sure he would too, but I don't have any use for that.

Darn,

I saw where some place back East they not only have a huge amount of snow but it is windy and the wind chill is 52 below zero. They need to go to the Arctic to warm up.

Joe,

I was out in my driveway a day or so ago and this pickup pulls up and the guy yells at me so I went out to see what he wanted. He owns Shasta Mustang Supply and wanted to know if I would bring the 69 Cobra down there for him to photograph and put with the other muscle cars of the 60s next summer. I looked at his web site and he has some really nice cars on it. Of course most of them are Mustangs but he has some nice Shelbys that the people bring in for him to work on. I even saw one of the 60s Hertz GT-350s there.
