Joe,
Admit it, you love working. I did too and that was what led to my breakdown as I would never say no.

Sunday and another really nice day ahead. It was sunny and in the upper 60s yesterday and is supposed to reach the low 70s today. But we have more rain coming starting Monday night. Another excuse for not having to mow the yards. Right now they are just way to wet.

Yesterday was a great day and today is supposed to be about the same, but rain tomorrow. Ernie came down and got his Cobra so I now have a barren looking garage. I guess today I will take the Kwik Lift apart and store it along the side to give me a lot of room.

Ron,
I do not like working on the weekends. I will do what needs to be done, but if it isn't critical, I don't do it. I also do what I can to not take it home with me and try to leave on time every day. It is not worth it to me. I have one of those jobs that no matter how much you do, there is just as much more to do. You can never catch up.

Joe,
I don't think I have ever been caught up with what I had to do in my life. Every time I thought I was making progress I would get calls from somewhere with more problems. Heck, I can't even get caught up with my lawn work any more.

Mike,
I saw that on TV when they first came out. There is one mistake in the ad. None of the 69 Cobras came with the big stick on emblems. They all had the steel snakes with the COBRA plaque just below them. I have seen some of the 70 Torino Cobras with the big stick on emblems. Guess they were cheaper. And some of the 69s came with a a few differences. Mine had chrome rocker panels along both sides below the doors and from the back of the front fender wells. to the front of the rear fender wells. Also in the center round part on the rear end, instead of the usual just polished or a red white circle paper stick in, mine has an aluminum version of the Snake like he used on the GT-500s back then except it is smaller as the circle isn't that big.
Thanks for posting it, as I had forgotten about it. I am not sure where it was shot but when they first came out with it, one of the car shows told where they shot that video.

That sounds familiar and looks a lot like that area did back then. Now that I have some more gas, I need to have a few nice days so I can take it out and run it a little. I noticed the Polyglass Tires in the video and they are exactly what mine has on it. I am just afraid to drive it very fast with those 42 year old tires on it.

Just saw this on the news. GM is recalling some of its older cars for power steering failure. Wonder if the big Toyota mess had anything to do with them jumping on this so quickly.

Also saw that the post office is going to stop having Saturday mail service. I forgot how many millions they are in the hole, but they expect it to get worse this year. We haven't had Saturday service here for years except they did put the mail up in the post office boxes if you have one.

Hows' the leg Ron?
We have had a couple of really nice days here in Texas.
I am really sick of the cold weather.

Tru,
I have thought about trying to download it and put it on a CD but just haven't messed with it. I did finally get the three weekends of the World Of collector Cars that they shot here when I had my Cobra on CD.
Steve,
The leg is about the same. Those four red spots just won't heal and they itch like crazy at times. All the tests have came back showing nothing wrong and I think that infection must have gotten into the bone as it hurts at times so bad I have to sit down. DO NOT ever get old.

Hey, did any of you see the show on TV last night called Earth 2100? They messed up on a couple of things but it was a very well documented show I thought and it sure makes you think. It is about the possible future if things such as population, lack of water and food, and global warming continue at todays pace. If you get a chance watch it. It is only 2 hours long.

The first showing was the fires to January 2010. I am sure it will be shown several times.
By the way, I like the new look of your Blog.

Boy, talk about lousy luck. Now they will be afraid to go anywhere. I also saw an article that in the past when Haiti and chili had a big earthquake, normally within 40 to 100 years the West Coast of the United States has had a big one.
