Steve,
I am planning on it, but it depends on a couple of things. First I have a sleep study Friday night as I am not sleeping and snoring really bad the last several months. I thought it was allergies at first but it is getting worse. I may have sleep apnea. After that I have to go in for some blood work saturday morning. If all of that finishes up at a reasonable time, I will be out. Saturday is my Birthday and we have a bunch of friends coming over for an evening BBQ, so I have to also get home and begin work on that stuff.

Joe,

Happy Birthday for tomorrow. Since it is your birthday, some of the others should do the work.

I hope you get the sleep thing straightened out. Could it be stress from all of the work that you have been doing lately?

yea, Happy Birthday if I don't see ya.

I am planning on going but it sure looks like rain right now.

It has sprinkled off and on all day here.

Sounds like your going to have a busy day.

Ron,
Glad to hear your eyes are getting better. Or at least the one you had worked on.

They woke me up early this morning. I am already home, showered, and looked at the weather. Looks like a washout. Sucks that we have a bunch of ribs and stuff and we might not get to go out and BBQ.

Joe,

I hope that your weather improves. We are having 80 degree days with the exception of Thursday when it was clear and 76° and just suddenly clouded up and started to rain with a temperature drop into the 50s. Yesterday was nice except for a cool breeze blowing that pollen everywhere.

Well here it is Sunday and they had the Damboree Day Parade yesterday. Weather is great, just a little windy. Just as the parade was about ready to start the big circuit breakers on the power line across the street blew and it sounded like a transformer. I could feel the house shake and the windows rattled. Everyone went running out to see what happened and they figure a squirrel got across the line somewhere but couldn't find any trace of one. With the explosion those breakers made, I figure if it was a squirrel he was vaporized.

Well AER was washed out, but it didn't matter. I didn't get to go out to the impromptu Cobra meet. Maybe this weekend I will get out to see the guys at AER. BBQ was perfect though, rains never hit us after noon. Had some outstanding ribs, chicken, more ribs, meatballs, more ribs, beans and I think I forgot to mention we had ribs (Both pork and beef). Had a lot of food, alcohol, and friends over. Could not have been better.

Joe,

It sounds as if you had a great time. I am glad the rain missed you. I saw this morning where Nashville is flooded.

Memorial day weekend is our next one Steve. If you really want to come out you are welcome. This is going to be a big one, we are getting a bounce house or a water slide for the kids, lots of food, but everyone should bring something whatever you want. If you do want to come out, let me know and I will get the details to you.

Tru,

You are welcome. Glad to hear that you are busy. I see that Gottschalks ( spelling) which went bankrupt over a year ago and closed all of their stores around here are now going to open three in Redding. I don't think that Redding is large enough to support three of them even in good times. They only had one before.

A long day ahead. I got up at midnight and went into the Winco Store in Redding at 1 AM to gt my groceries. If you don't go before 9 AM you can't even find a place in their big parking lot to park. And there are always several people in there shopping at all hours of the night and morning.

I have to go back to my eye surgeon this afternoon and let him look at the eye to see how it is doing. I am really going to be happy when this eye is healed and he does the other one. Maybe he will be able to do the right eye early next month.

Joe,
Well see, sounds like fun. I need to check with the sweet wife and make sure she doesn't have plans that weekend.

Ron,
Sounds like the eye is getting better all the time. Won't be long now and you will actually be able to see again.

Looks like AER is re-secheduled for this weekend. We are going to try and make it to this one. This is a great show. I actually won "Best of Class" with mine when I showed ot there in 2002. Man that seems like a lifetime ago.

Busy, busy..

Steve,

The eye is improving a lot. I am going to ask my doctor when I go in this afternoon if I can mow the lawns now as my weeds are getting high. Just three more checks counting todays and then I should find out when he will do the other eye. So far the hardest part has been getting those expensive eye drops in and not wasting any.

Steve, whatever you have planned, your wife has her plan. And, before you start with anything I feel I will need waders for, remember, I met your wife.

Dang, Great weather tapered with spouts of rain.

Hey Ron, glad you are getting better.

Tru,

Yesterday they took the readings to order the lens for the right eye. Also took me off the antibiotic eye drops and told me I no longer have to sleep with the plastic shield over the eye. It is still pretty light sensitive, but getting much better and I have always had some sensitivity to bright light anyway so that is most like contributing to the problem. My next appointment is next week on the 12th and I should find out some more about when they will do the right eye.

There is a guy not far west of the collector car guy whose personal collection includes a Cobra, LM-002 and an RS200 among other fine vehicles.
