Mike,
No sunburn and the wind is blowing like crazy this morning. I had to go to the store and got home at 4:30 AM and my throat and sinuses are a mess. I hope the wind stops when it gets light as we are supposed to have sun for the rest of the week and weekend.
Tru,
Good to hear from you. Ok, now what kind of truck are you designing? Is it an electric one that will go 1,000 miles between charges and do 120 MPH. If so, then please design me a car which would be much lighter and should go farther on a charge.

It has been in the low 70s here the past two days and is supposed to be in the upper 60s for the next four days. Really nice. I took the 69 for a drive yesterday and then went over to the range and shot. We now have to shoot with both hands to qualify, in my case my left hand is the awkward one, but I got 8 out of 10 in the 10 circle.

Wow, five straight days of in the upper 60s and low 70s and it is supposed to continue for another few days. I have Easter Lilies bloomed out and my Lilacs are all blooming. The wind is blowing pretty hard this morning.
Now that everything is bloomed out it is time for a couple of nights of freezing weather.

If you are referring to Steve above, he has a site and handles about everything from cars to real estate. I am only answering this because he hardly ever comes by here and your question would be on the next page most likely before he comes by again.

Mike,
I noticed his post count and thought that may be the case but I figured if he knew that Steve wasn't just trying to sell trailers it may ease his mind.
How is the weather there? We have had a couple of weeks of really great weather and I have flowers blooming and mowed a day or so ago. But it is 38° this morning and they now say rain Sunday. Yesterday they said rain tomorrow.

LOL
I guess I missed the action. It looks like the post has been removed.
No, no.. I am not selling trailers. LOL, Sometimes I wished I was, It might be easier. But you all know what they say. If is was easy, everyone would be doing it.
Ron,
I see you have been getting some rain. They said the lake was the highest it has been in many years. Now if you could just get some of the retail stores to open back up around you. Wishful thinking huh.
Tru,
What are you working on now? What about the truck?
I heard from Liisa the other day. Does anyone know if she got her question answered yet?

Steve,
We have had quite a bit or rain but they have let the lake down quite a bit. As for the stores opening, two more closed a week or so ago and some others are talking about going out of business. There just isn't any work in this area at all except the retail and it can only support so many stores.

Yea, her friend got back to Houston and I believe the issue was actually minor, but she did say it got taken care of.

Thanks Joe. I did not know if she got the answers she needed or not. I have been so busy.
Ron,
Hey at least they have a little water to let out now. I am surpised more people dont get hurt from that tower being cut off like it is by the dam. You would think that when the water gets low the boats would crash right into it.

Steve,
One of these days when the lake is that low again it will happen. I have seen boats tied up to it while they fish for the big ones at the base of the dam. They used to have a line of floating buoys out a ways that no boat was allowed to come closer to the dam than them, but I haven't seen them for the past few years. Probable because the water was so low they would have been on the ground.

Well out few days of light rain and fog seem to be over. Forecast for the next three days is in the low 60s and sunny. Now I just have to wait for my yards to dry out again before I can do anything in them.

It got down to 7* here last night. We have snow and ice on the ground. Most folks are staying indoors right now. It is supposed to be 6* here tonight. Thats pretty cold for Texas.

I saw a satellite picture of the Eastern part of the country and from Texas and nearly 1/3rd of the way to the middle of the country it looked like a huge glacier. I know a lot of it was snow and just clouds, but it sure looked like you are having a small ice age back there and all the way North into Canada. Darn, I am happy that we don't have that weather here. It was a beautiful day yesterday and is supposed to be in the upper 60s today.

It is 15* out right now. We are expecting 10 inches in the next 14 hours. The ground is frozen so if it does snow, it will stick to everything.

We are about an hour away from the stadium where the Super Bowl will be played. The news just said they may have to cut power to local shops and funnel it to the stadium for heat.
It would stink to be in the restaurant business and not be able to be open during the game. Talk about loss of business!

Steve just wait until NASCAR take over the running of the Super Bowl. The whole state will be without power for a day or so while they get in all of their senseless shows.
Clean your lawn off and rent parking spaces.

Hi guys, are we having fun in the snow?
10 inches on top of the six or seven we had on the ground makes it look like we got more than we did.
News people try to make more of the snow than what really happened.
