Darn, and here I was thinking you were starting to have another small ice age back there. While we have to deal with beautiful Spring like days.y flowers are bloomed out and I will soon need to mow the yard if we don't get back to our normal Winter weather soon.

Tru,
Your right about the news people. You would think they have never seen snow before. To listen to some of them you would think we were in Anchorage.
Ron,
Did you get any snow at all?
We got about 7 inches from what I measured last night and what is on the ground now. It is still snowing pretty good though. Everything looks really nice outside. It is at just the right amount. Enough to look great but not too much to cause big issues.
Great day for a big pot of chili.

News people try to make more of the snow than what really happened.

I feel sorry for all the kids that can't play hopscotch in all that snow.

Steve,
No we never had any snow that stayed on the ground this low. One day we had some but it just stuck to the leaves and fences for a short time. All of the small mountains around me are covered and that is why what wind we have is so cold as it comes right across the snow. I prefer it this way and I can drive 5 minutes and be in the snow if I want to.

Mike,
We are having Spring weather again up here. Temps in the upper 60s and low 70s and all the trees and flowers are bloomed out. Just about perfect weather for driving if I had a car. If this keeps up for a few more days I am going to have to mow the lawns.

Fred,
Another great day here today. I am wearing a short sleeve shirt and sweating from working in the yard. I believe our high yesterday was 80 degrees and more of the same today.

My bad for not getting back to everyone. Yes, she had made it back safely to Houston. After she had stopped for dinner, when she got back into the car the sensor light was off. She did take it in and they didn't find anything.
It's been busy and cold.. I could use some of the trees budding and warm weather!
Hope everyone is doing well!

Cold here this morning. Just 34°. But it is supposed to be sunny and get up to 59 today and then the next two days have highs in the upper 60s shown. Boy, am I happy that I don't have to live in all of that snow and ice. I can drive 15 minutes and be in all of the snow I want.

Steve,
Are you sure that Texas hasn't shifted North East? We are still having nice weather but the wind has been blowing pretty hard the last 3 days and it is cold as it comes right across the snow on the mountains. It was 61 here yesterday but the wind chill lowered it to around 50. And it is still blowing this morning. I wish it would stop.

It is 62° here right now and is supposed to get near 70 later today. And the wind is letting up which makes it really nice.

manual pinto rack versus power rack
I am new to this site and hoping for some help. I have completed a one off cobra kit, and had a rolling chassis built. The builder used a pinto rack with corvette suspension. Turning the wheel is difficult and bump steer is so violent I have actually damaged my Flaming river steering column. I am thinking of switching to another type of rack and adding power steering. Any ideas from the guys out there that can help would be appreciated.

time2flyg4,
There area lot of very knowledgeable people on this site, unfortunately I am not one of them, but you would most likely get better responses if you posted this in the All Cobra Talk Forum.
That Pinto rack doesn't sound great to me. Many people used the Mustang rack and pinion steering and that is what I had in mine when I had it and I never had a problem of any kind with it. It turned easily except with the racing tires on and at very slow speeds and I never had power steering. But with street tires it turned very easily at any speed. What kind of motor do you have and how much weight is on the front end?

Howdy gents!
You all haven't seen real snow. The all winter long, never above 25 degrees and it keeps coming down stuff.
However, it was near forty yesterday.
But here is a nice pic of snow.

It is raining here today and is supposed to rain most of the week. So now I can put off mowing the yard for a few more days.
