Well I survived last night. She had to work so late and we met at a restaurant so I could not get a video it was too dark outside. I was close, She saw him, screamed, bawled her eyes out, tried to squeeze the life out of him while saying "My baby is home, my baby is home." over and over. Then hit me for not telling her while giving me the evil eye of death. She was so happy last night that she forgot all about the stresses of work so it was worth it.

Sorry about your weather Ron, we have had warm temps here. Rain is forecast for later this week, but warm in the 60s-80s until then. Was in the 80s yesterday.

Darn Joe, it would seem that our weather has just changed places. Now they say that tomorrow will just be cloudy with no rain and the rain will return Monday.

That is good news that your son made it home safe and I hope he stays that way until his tour is over. That must have been one joyous meeting.

Ron

Thanks Ron. It really was. She forgot everything else ever existed for a few moments.

I had noticed what appeared to be a very small town on my "Roads of Texas" with an interesting name. The dot for the location & size couldn't have been any smaller.

I went for a ride today and finally found it. Nice 200 mile ride on the scoot and 73 degrees.

It being a water tank. Found one house and it was next to the water tank.

Nice paint job on the water tank though.

We just had the biggest hail storm I have ever seen, not big hail but a lot...it looks like snow here!

Fred,

Now that is one small town. Does that mean that Frenchy and her group can't go there?

Mike,

Your weather sounds as weird as ours. Now they have changed the forecast again and it isn't supposed to rain today, just cloudy and cold. It is 30° right now. And I just got the notice that they are going to almost triple our electric rates and that they will have to have another larger increase within 6 months. We already have a problem with people around here not being able to pay their utility bills and they kick them out of their houses because they don't have the utilities. This bunch of crooks would have had a hard time back during the settling of this state when there was no electricity, indoor plumbing, and sewers.

The short answer is: It wasn't called Frognot before Frenchy and the Ho Sisters came by.

Ah, Ha, that explains it. That must be the smallest town in Texas. But they do have a large water tank.

Fred, that is just north of me and the first time I went through there, I had the same reaction.

Joe,

Buy yourself a large water tank and move out away from everyone and name it Joe, Texas. Then get a Federal Grant for city improvements and buy your Cobra.

I thought Frenchy had gone to frog hell. Now I understand there is a town of not frogs?

Oh woow, what has this world come to? No frogs in this town.

Joe,
Happy to hear he is home safe. That is always the best news for any parent. Besides half the fun of getting the sweet wife upset is the making up.

Joe,

I hope that you have good weather while your son is home. Ours is really getting crappy. It is sprinkling now and we are supposed to have a cold front from Alaska come down next week and linger here all week with some snow. This just after three weeks of Spring weather and all the trees and flowers have bloomed.

Been good so far but rainy today. Supposed to pass and then be nice for 2 days and then rain again. On Tuesday he is flying to San Fransisco to see his dad for a few days and then back here again. Hopefully we will get a BBQ in when he gets back if the weather cooperates.

Well hopefully it will be better than it is here right now. It is very cold and sprinkling and they are now saying we could have from 2 to 4 inches of snow tonight. I want our Spring weather back.

Definitely better than that Ron. It is rainy but in the 60s. Going out to a steak house for dinner tonight so he will love that.

I hope the weather stays good there so you can have your BBQ when he gets back from his trip out here. If I wanted to live in Alaskan weather I would have moved up there. It is getting darker here by the minute and the sprinkles are starting to get a little heavier.

Ron,
I see the snow headed your way. They say the first time in some areas out there since 1976.

Get your coat!
