Hi Liisa,

It is nice to see you posting again. I know from our emails that you are busy as a beaver. We actually had a mostly sunny day yesterday and it is supposed to be the same today or we will have scattered showers. Depends on which weather forecast you look at. When I saw the moon yesterday morning I was about to call in a report of a UFO it had been so long since I had seen it.

Joe,

Boy has our weather gone through another radical change. It was in the mid 60s yesterday and I spent the whole day mowing, weed eating, and cleaning up what the water and wind had left behind. The rest of the week is now supposed to be in the 70s with a high of 81. I hope they are right this time. But that going from rain, hale, and the 40s to this overnight is kind of rough.

Yea last week we were in the 80s but Saturday it was windy and about 7PM the temp just dropped like a rock. Temp right now is about 45° at 1PM. Been this way since Sunday. Overcast and light showers so far but they keep predicting thunderstorms. I haven't seen anything other than a light rain, mostly just a drizzle.

Man has it ever been windy here. Dang.

Been real busy with everything. If any of you learn anything from me please read your insurance policies. You will not regret the time it takes to learn what is (is not) covered in them. Trust me on this.

It has really warmed up here.Got up to 72 yesterday and is supposed to hit the low 80s today, but we have showers forecast for then weekend. Oh well, I got all of my mowing and yard work done and it looks good right now.

I also got woke up at 12:35 by prowlers in the alley. This is the 3rd time in a week and they take off in an old white pickup. Next time I am going out front and get the license number off the pick up and then call the police. They are stealing gas and everything else they can get their hands on.

Steve,

It has been in the upper 80s here the past two days and was 87 yesterday. We are supposed to have showers today and the wind is blowing. But I did get a lot of work done the past two days. I am doing laundry this morning.

It was a really nice day today here but they say we are in for a bad storm tonight. You can smell the rain in the air and the clouds are moving in fast.

Still nice here except we are having some cool wind. That is keeping it down in the low 70s and upper 60s. We are supposed to have showers this week but they keep changing that.

We didn't get too much rain at all. It rained here for about two hours off and on. Nothing to really write home about. I got a day off of watering the yard. that was cool.

Ron,
Did you get my Email?

Steve,
Out here on the east side, we got hammered this morning. Lots of Lightning and Thunder. Lots of ground strikers. A heavy Deluge for about 2 hours with some powerful winds along with it. Some houses in my area got damaged from debris blowing about. A co-worker watched his 15' trampoline pull it's anchors up and blow 20-25' to his house demolishing everything on his patio. House wasn't damaged though.

We had a little high winds but not like we were having all of last week. Basically the ground is dry allready. But it is surpisingly cold out right now.

But the onions we planted are loving it. They are about 10" high allready. I think every one of them is doing well. I hope the maters will do as well.

Steve,

No I never received any e-mail from you. And it wasn't filtered into my Spam folder as I check those before I dump them.

We are still having nice weather except for the wind and now they are saying rain off and on the rest of this week. They are dumping more water out of the lake and have it down to 18' from full now.

Darn this weather here. Two days ago I was in my short sleeve shirt mowing and last night it was 33 degrees and all of my Easter Lilies have frozen and are just black blobs where the flower was. It seems every year as the April Car Show approaches the weather gets weird.

Had a BIG hail storm here on Sunday night. It tore the fences down, broke windows in about a third of the houses in our community and tore up every single car that was outside. Mine are both completely covered with dents.

Trees 10 - 12 inches thick are broken in to half way up the trunk. Most of the roofs in this community will need replacing.

By 9:00AM on Monday our Insurance company had received over 200,000 claims from this single storm.

Darn Steve, that was a mess. We have had some hard wind but no trees near me blew over. However some in the area did and one fell on a mobile home and killed the man and his little daughter that was sleeping in it. Now it is really warming up and the people with sinus problems are having a time as the oak pollen is really just starting to get bad.
