Cool

hey Ron,
Our thermometer outside reads 107* right now.

Sure do miss that cool weather we had this past winter. We thank God for the sunshine but we could sure use some rain right about now.

I think it is about 85 outside here. Light trade winds wafting by. No heat
wave here.

Been crazy busy here. Had a big meeting yesterday from 7:30 AM to 6:15 PM. High execs with the customer I support. Went well and I got a few compliments from them, so hopefully it helps me at work. Still working crazy long hours with no break in sight.

It is still hot here but nothing like Texas is having. We are only in the low 100s but the dust is a really big problem. A lost of people are having trouble because of breathing it. And this construction of building the new police station just above my upper lot, 180' from my house has sure not helped with the big trucks, tractors and bulldozers moving the dust around.

Joe,
I am betting that the heat has gotten to Steve.

Last month was the warmest low temp average in DFW history. Averaged 84.
Average High temp was 101.7

Yesterday was the 31st straight 100+ day.Now #2 in the record book. 42 is the record set in 1980.

Forecast is 110 today & tomorrow.

Well OK maybe I should clarify something. I am looking at Aubrey, Texas temps and not Dallas. Aubrey is in the country more or less and we have lake Lewisville to our South and Lake Ray Roberts to our North. We have water on two sides so we do get the winds off the lake. We also get the humidity at the same time.

So Fred, your correct. I was not looking at Dallas temps. It is ALWAYS hotter in Dallas than here because of the amount of concrete and the number of buildings blocking the breeze.

Out here, our idea of a traffic jamb is two people on a horse!

I know yesterday it exceeded the forecast of 104 and hit 109° officially. Really scared that today is forecast to be 110. What is it actually going to hit?

I was reading and looking at the pictures of the lake in Texas that has turned Blood Red. And of course some of the End Times people have already jumped on that. So I guess Texas is at the End of its time.

The temp reached 110* here yesterday. I know for some places on Earth that is a normal temp but around here we are just not used to that.

Today is expected to be the same or even worse. Looks like we will try to stay indoors today as much as possible.

Yep. I managed to not have to leave anywhere during work today, not looking forward to how hot my car will be when I go out to go home though.

There was a wreck in front of our home this morning at 4:20AM. The girl took out a tree and totaled the little car. She did not seem to be hurt as she took off up the street cussing like a sailor to some poor sap on the cell phone.

A few minutes later some guy come running down the street yelling something. He run up to the car and yells, "$hit!" then turns around and runs off.

A little while later the police show up and five people come walking down the street with the original driver acting like they knew nothing about what was going on.

The policeman ask, "If you didn't know what was going on here, and you don't live on this street, How did you know where the car was?"

Can you say BUSTED!!!!!

It was 88* at 4:30AM. The driveway was still hot from yesterday. We also noticed there have been no birds around here for weeks. What's up with that?

Steve,
That sounds like she took his car to wreck it and called him on it. She showed up to rub it in.

As far as temp, last night at 8PM we left out to go to the store and it was still 103°. At 9PM it was 99 and we rode home with the windows down because it felt good. I had to comment on how bad that was.

That is right Joe. Last night we were talking about how good it felt when it got way down to 93*.

Can you imagine some places are like that all the time.
I swear I'd Move!

Stocks are taking a beating today. Ford is below $10.00 a share again. Right now DJI is -498.61035 / -4.35672
