Hey Ron,
Hope everyone is doing well. We have been busy here. Things slowed down a little bit but we are busy again.
It is really starting to get warm here already. I suppose it is the humidity that is making it worse than it really is.

Besides the heat and humidity, we are having quite a bit of wind and the air is still just full of that darn pollen. I had to wash my windshield yesterday morning before I could see through it and the rest of the car is now yellow instead of white and it sticks on there like glue. It is like rubbing your finger across course sand paper but until it quits falling and blowing all over there is no reason to get out in this wind and try to wash it off.

Well I hope that you all had a great Memorial Day weekend and will be careful if you are traveling today. Traffic in this area has been really heavy and you would think there was no economic problems from the amount of motor homes and trucks pulling boats. But we have also had several accidents already and in one of them 3 people were killed. Most of the accidents have been attributed to drinking so if you are traveling watch out for the others.

Ron,
We had a smaller BBQ this year but it was a great time. One of the better ones. Had about 20 people over. The kids were bummed out that the water guns were broken, so I took some water bottles and poked a hole in the caps. Home made water guns. They had a blast with them all day.

Joe,
That is great and the water bottle idea was a good one. Now if you could have just hooked an air compressor to them to give a little more power you would have had a Super Squirter.

Ron,
For that I put the fire nozzle sprayer on my water hose and that was my water gun. I won the fight.

LOL they loved it. Was a nice break from the heat. They also had fun on the slip and slide between the houses. Grass is all tore up there now, but it was fun to see them enjoying themselves so much.

Hi Tru,
Glad things are going well for you. It was 102 here yesterday and is supposed to stay around that range the next few days. The dust is bad and the fire danger is really bad. They are asking people to not even mow their yards unless they have a lot of high dead grass and weeds in them and if they do mow to have a hose and nozzle ready.

Fred,
That sounds good but unfortunately the city won't allow any type of farm animal to be kept at a residential place. I need a mechanical version of those goats that will eat the star thistles along with the rest of the weeds.

110 in Phoenix Az... So far. We'll see if it can hit the projected 112.

I don't believe this. It is raining here this morning after being 103 yesterday. Not hard and most likely not enough to settle the dust but it is a relief from the heat and humidity.

Latest news on the Coupe is that it is coming along pretty well. It will be almost a completely rebuilt car when I get it back. Same frame and wheels, but a lot of body work, new engine, rear end and other numerous things. And the air conditioner and heater will work.

Mike & Joe,
So am I. It will be a very nice car once they are finished rebuilding it. I may even get to drive it after John has driven it for a few days to check for any leaks and small things that normally show up on a build such as this. That air conditioner is going to be a life saver in the heat and the heater will be really nice when it is cold. Heck, I could even drive it up to visit Nomad and look at his Cobra covered up and shivering in his garage.
