That is a nice looking place that you have there. I talked to my cousin that lives in Omaha and he said they were having some rain off and on. He is waiting to start cutting hay.
Fall is coming. Finally after over 2 months we have no smoke here and the fires are all out and just mop up is left. Also the temperatures are just in the mid 90s to around 101 degrees and it is supposed to be in the 80s next week. It has been so hot here that people are wearing jackets when it is in the low 80s. I think everyone has had enough of the high temperatures, humidity, fires, and smoke.
Finally cooled off here too and we finally got some much needed rain.

I talked to my cousin in Arkansas yesterday and he said they had been having rain about every two to three days. Not heavy just an inch or so a day and his fields are ready to mow once they dry out. No rain here but at least it is barely making it to the 100 mark some days and not at all on other days. Next week we are supposed to have some days in the 80s. Fall is here and acorns are falling like hail.
It sounds as if you have an exciting time planned ahead. It is getting cooler here finally and the smoke is gone. Nothing else going on that is worth talking about.
Nice to hear from you and that you are staying busy. It is starting to get cooler here now. In fact these 50 degree nights are downright cold after all of the 80 degree plus ones we have had.
Here's a "first start" video of my Spyder's engine.
It's a stroker 351W EFI w/ a Ford EEC-V ecu, Vic Jr intake, Mass Flo TB, distributorless ignition, etc.

Sounds good. I like the wire that wave around. They should attract some attention. Good to See you posting again and to see that your motor is coming along so well.

Howdy Ron,
It was mainly just a test start to see if all my "engineering" actually worked.
Since Ford never made a distributorless 351W it was a challenge it figure everything out. Since it actually works I need to fab a coil mount, clean up my wiring harness and make everything look semi-professional.
Plus I have to replace a leaking freeze plug, repair a slight fuel line drip, etc.
Never a dull monument.

You are doing great so far. We went in opposite directions. I had a 351 without a distributor in the Coupe and the new one is going to have a distributor. I need something in there that I recognize. You might contact Redmt to see if he has any pictures of my old set up that could help you with some ideas for the wiring and such. Good luck and I hope yo will have it all worked out and going soon.
