Hi Mick,

Still kicking so far. It is getting cold here and we have had a lot of wind. What have you been up to? I spend most of my time over on the other site when I am online now.

I have been kind of playing with the idea that if my health holds out I may go back to Arkansas for a week or so next Summer. Keep in touch and I hope everything is great for you and yours.

Ron

Doing OK now. Was on my deathbed a year & a half ago but wasn't my time to go. Have another '69 Fastback Mustang now. It's a 428 car. Made it my daily driver. Thought of you last summer. Was at a car show in Sarasota Springs NY & saw a beautiful, all original 429 Cobra Torino. It was for sale, but I am out of storage room! You still got yours? Take care

Unhappy

Darn Mick,

I am sorry to hear that you had such a bad time but am happy that you pulled through. And yes, I still have my 69 NASCAR Cobra and it is still all original even the tires that came on it. That sounds like a nice Mustang that you have there.

Joe,

It was nice but a little cold in the morning as it got down to 33. The afternoon was nice as we had no wind for a change. I hope that you had a great one and everything is going well with the new place.

Hi Tru,

Nice to hear from you and that you had a successful hunting season. Our weather is something else. It is December and I have roses blooming.

Tru,
Good to hear that you had a successful hunt. I haven't gotten out this year at all. Too much work to do on the farm. Got 31 Tee posts pounded in this weekend. About 1/2 done with those.

Joe,

You sound as if you are getting a lot done and I know it is a lot of work but I would bet that you are enjoying it. How is your weather there now? I can't believe it is December here and I have roses blooming and the temperatures haven't dropped into the low 20s yet like they forecast. Good luck on getting the rest of the posts set. Wish I was close enough to help you.

Ron

Ron,
I am enjoying it. We have had one freeze but it warmed back up this past weekend. 70's yesterday, today and tomorrow, but Thursday supposed to get cold again. Possible ice by Friday Morning and through the weekend, so I don't know if we will get any more done this weekend. We also got a puppy that we are currently crate training. It has taken us this long since we put our dog down in May, but he is good. Hasn't quite figured out the potty training yet, but we are working on it.

Joe,

That is great and the puppy will learn quickly. We have some wind today and wasn't supposed to have any. It hasn't gotten up to 50 yet. And they said that it would be in the teens by the end of the week. That is all you hear on the radio is get your water pipes wrapped. But with the accuracy of our weather people, there is no way to know what it may do in two hours from now.

They updated the forecast to 100% chance of ice on Friday. Good news is I may get a 3 day weekend. Bad news is no further work on the fence is likely.

The puppy did do a lot better on his 2nd night last night. Didn't whine and cry in the crate nearly as much last night. Still working on the peeing in the house, but he didn't tried to poop in the house this morning. I need to upload some pictures but he is going to be a tank with legs when he grows up. I swear he has grown enough in the 2 days we have had him to notice. He is a mutt, but both of his parents are known and are cross breeds of 2 pure breeds. His mother is Chow and Lab mix and his father is Boxer and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. A hunter and a protector breed on both parents.

Joe,

He should make quite a dog and you need to get him a bed to sleep in. Pictures would be nice.

Our weather contiunues its pattern. Cold and windy at times with none of the rain they have forecast for the past week. Most days are sunny but the temperture is around the 50 degree mark and that cold wind from The Bay Of Alaska really keeps it to cold to want to get outside. And they are still warning people to wrap alll of their water lines for the coming weekend.

Looks like I may be 1 step closer to selling my old house finally. We are really close on the deal but now we have to hope that it will appraise for at least that amount. It sure would be nice to have that one item off of my plate.

Joe,

Good luck on selling the old house and I hope the deal goes through. Just one more thing that you won't have to worry about.

Thank you Tru and Ron. I do have a contract that I have to sign tonight. We have an agreement. Now to sweat the appraisal. I hate this part.

Ice storms here tonight. News is calling it Icemeggeddon. Supposed to be over 1/2" of ice accumulation tonight for my area. Don't know if I will be working tomorrow or not, but for sure, I don't think I will be doing any fence this weekend.

Joe,

It is cold here also but so far we haven't had any hard ice. It was 8 below at Alturas yesterday morning and 1 below at Susanville. It just got down to 28 here but we had a hard wind blowing most of the day and it was cold.

I hope that your weather will get better soon.
