Well here it is Christmas day and very cold here right now. It is supposed to be sunny and in the low 60s later on.

All of you have a great day and stay safe.

Joe & Fred,

I hope that both of you had a great day yesterday. It was really colder here than it was supposed to be and we had a light very cold wind most of the day. I stayed inside most of the day and watched TV.

Well Christmas is past and I spent the day yesterday mowing the weeds in my yards as they have grown about 6" since the sun came out. It was a pretty nice day with NO wind for a change. If I hadn't had to get rid of that mess in the yards I think I would have driven the cars as they need to be ran some. This morning it is in the 30s and icy and somewhat overcast, so I doubt it the temperature will be warm enough to do any driving.

Joe & Fred,

How was your Christmas? We have been having sunny but very cold weather and some really cold wind. The year looks as if it is going to end in a dry but cold mode. There was ice all over the yards and my locks on the gates were frozen yesterday morning but this morning the wind has kept the ice away.

Have a great New Year and may next year be your best yet.

Ron

Joe & Fred,

Haven't heard from either of you for some time. I hope that both of you are doing great and are just busy. It has been cold and windy here and now today it is supposed to be in the low 70s and back to overcast and down in the low 50s again tomorrow. This one day of nice weather is going to really mess up the sinus problem that I have been fighting. I have to take the dogs to the vets this morning first thing and if the weather really does get up to that temperature, I may try to get both the Coupe and the Cobra out for a drive today.

Just busy here. Lost a friend over the holidays and been dealing with helping the family sell his gun collection to pay for bills.

Darn Joe, I am sorry to hear that. It seems that all of the old friends that I knew have passed away or moved in the past year or so. Did he ave a large gun collection?

Depends on who you ask. I personally don't think it is that large, but others have said differently. I have sold a Remington 700, 2 Marlin 30-30s (1, I bought) 2 Ruger 10/22s (again 1 I bought), Mossberg 500 20 gauge, Marlin .17HMR bolt action rifle, Remington 870 shotgun, a 10 gauge antique Hopkins & Allen shotgun, and 2 1911 pistols. Still have a Browning BPS 12 gauge shotgun, an AR15, and a Gamo air rifle to sell. Also have some optics and a couple of Walther P99 magaiznes to sell that I have not found a pistol to go with.

VERY soon the views on this thread will hit ONE MILLION.

Less than 3000 to go. What happens when it does......start over at 1 or 1000000 ???

Pretty amazing,to me anyway, that I am asking this question about a thread that has no subject.

Remember the old Ignore This thread that someone started long ago and then changed their mind and never put anything but that in it?

I remember posting in that thread.

Fred, it is pretty cool for a thread with no subject. But I like how it is just friends chatting. The entire point of it.

I knew my friend from a local Mustang club originally that we still have a forum for but not really about Mustangs anymore. Just a bunch of old Mustang guys that still have a lot in common. Another member is organizing all of his Mustang parts and selling them off as well. Unfortunately he left a lot of debt behind that needs to be paid. The old school members became more of an extended family and we have started a college fund for the his 2 boys (14 and 17). It may not be much, especially for the oldest, but it is something.

Joe,

What you are doing is commendable and I wish you luck. Maybe if you listed the Mustang parts on some of the sites you could get some people that would want them.

Yeah, he has enough listed on our local site that one member already commented that he if just holds out for a couple more parts he can build a whole car. Not far from the truth. Needs Pistons, 1 door, a unibody, some struts and some headlights. Has pretty much everything else for a fox body mustang. Wiring, 2 short blocks minus pistons, 1 big block 460 bare, heads, intakes, throttle bodies, 3 CPUs, body panels, interior, roll cage, lights, suspension, wheels tires, brakes, exhaust, and more all listed. Still going through stuff to list.
