Darn Fred,
What happened to the Texas teams in the NCAA Tournament? I thought that two of them art least would get past the first round. Two I didn't think would do well and the other was a question mark, but I sure never expected all five of them to be eliminated in the first round.

Well since this is the only Forum and thread that I can access this morning I will post here and see if the site will even take this post. It took me 4 tries to even get onto the site this morning and when it finally loaded it took 2 minutes and 53 seconds. Now any other Forum or thread that I try to open to read I get that page not available, Database error, or The site has a problem page.
Now to see if this will post.

Surprisingly the largest car show of American cars isn't in the United States. I saw some of this show on TV last night and it is really something. They had 20,000 cars at it.

I saw this at a small local car show. It has Chevrolet on the hood but looks as if it is made of several cars and parts.

Our weather here has gotten really weird. We went from the 90s to the 40s and back to the low 80s and now it is raining just very lightly with a lot of thunder. Must be the global warming.

Fred,
With all of the flooding around you I hope that you and Joe are both OK. You have more water in one spot than we have in the whole North State here. Hopefully you will get a break from the rain soon. Take care and best wishes.

Well according to the weather report I saw you should be getting a break from all of the rain.
I have been watching the TV series, Texas Breaking and it is interesting. It is to hot around here to do much.

Tru,
You aren't the only one - I am still trying to sell my business so I can retire.
One way or the other, that is going to happen (retirement that is) by the end
of this year or early next year.

Hi Tru and Flip,
Good to hear from both of you again. I don't do much any more. Just hang around and try to stay cool. It is in the 105/110 range here now and will get much hotter. I do drive the cars once in a while and post the videos on You Tube.
Flip, I hope the business sells soon and that you enjoy your retirement. Best of luck to you and Tru.

I just saw that a sniper had shot that fool that shot at the police station. Good, I wish they would do that in all of the states and not worry about their rights.

re: Texas Rising
Ron,I hope you didn't waste a lot of time watching it. It has little to do with facts and history. It was made for people that don't know Texas history and just know some myths.
Besides the story, the scenes were shot in areas that aren't even close to Texas terrain. Mountains along the Gulf Coastal Plains ??? etc....
My family arrived in Texas in 1826. My G3Grandfather was portrayed in several of the scenes. It had little to do with fact.
It might have been better if I didn't know my history.
TV History Show
"In the Lone Star state, where forgetting the Alamo is considered a cardinal sin, a History channel series that plays fast and loose with the tale of the state’s fight for independence from Mexico is inspiring a Texas-size revolt."

Fred,
I wondered about some of the show. Especially some of the scenery and a lot of it didn't seem to agree with what I have studied in history. To bad they can't make one that is really accurate.

Your a movie star. Well at least your family name is.
I dread ask - becuase I have not seen any reference in a very long time, BUT did the Frog broker your movie deal?
