Just installed a new computer and modem at home (made in China). The cable guys had to visit due to poor signal. I showed them the car in the gagage -- is that a real one?? Back to reality -- there are some people not immersed in our hobby.

The thrill is gone.

Well, we're gonna try washing the lift and positioning it. It's up to 30 degrees so we can hope to get something done.

Anybody else doing anything other than shoveling snow???

Tru,

Enjoy the heat wave. It is cool and overcast here today, but after watching the snow plows on TV this morning I can't complain about rain. At least I don't have to shovel it out of the driveway. Good luck on geting the lift set up today.

we certainly need the rain.

Hey Tru
I washed that thing before you left here. You messed around and got it diry again didn't you?

Remember the most imprtant thing is that it is level when you bolt it to the floor. The guy that installed it for me took more time leveling it than setting it up.

Pictures pictures.

You think you washed it. It's a mess.

Anyway, it didn't get done today. I put the trans-cooler in the red truck.

Well, this is the first real good test of the furnace in the barn.

I am happy to say that it is 22 outside and 65 in the barn. I am waiting on a few things to get thawed before I start the washing. I do have a nice collection of the finest red mud I have ever seen.

After this last episode in the 'Barn' repairs, I am gonna need to rest for a month or two.

Well, I have a date tonight.

Default The Dr. made a housecall...

yea!!!

After Rob stopped by a little while ago and changed out the battery, I knew this beautiful day was just what the doctor ordered.... took a little cruise around the winding roads by my house. Not much traffic, just some kids out walking to the park, some bicyclists, and an ugly 70's vette out for a drive, too. Oh well, even the ugly ducklings need some fun, too.

gosh, it's nice to have the cobra back up and running! Maybe this will bring the good weather, too, for the Dallas meet on Saturday.

Pepe is out in the front turn around, and yeah, I think one more little bitty drive as the sun goes down is in order.....

Why?

The snow is fun to play in and you get three or four months of frozen water

Hockey!!!!

Okay, here is the dirty lift.

It has been washed and cleaned. But we will wait for the water to dry to clean it again and get all the oil, grease and hydraulic fluid off the metal.

After Erich and I washed it down.

It looks much better.

Don't let Steve near your car with a paint can.

Well, we are gonna have ta do the other one during the week and wait for the floor to dry.

Tru,

Well it still looks the same back there as it did when I was younger and working in the Eastern side of the country. Seeing that picture of the snow just made me think how much more I enjoy seeing it on the mountains and I can drive 20 minutes and be in it if I want. Lift is looking better now that you have it cleaned.

Kristen,

Nice weather you have. It started raining here yesterday around noon and hasn't stopped and the forecast said it would go until at least Wednesday. More boring days of watching it rain and the yards look like small lakes. Oh well, at least I have to go to the doctor Thursday and that will force me to get out in this.

More Snow last night.

Made the drive in last an extra 20 minutes.

If you get snow when it is 24 outside, the snow is power.
