Talking

Hey,

No rain so far this morning and it is supposed to get into the 60s today, but rain tomorrow and the next 4 days after that. I have my camera ready in case the sun does actually shine today. I need to go to Redding and if it is clear and sunny I may drive overby the Sundial Bridge and see how the river looks there. Man, if it gets into the 60s everyone will be in shorts here.

hello.
tru- how rood!
Warren can post all the pics he wants!
I like the pictures, and it beats the monotony of boring boring boring talk about rain.

supposed to get to 90* today. ok, well 89*. and tomorrow. and Easter should be 90*. And, that's muggy, humid heat. Threaten of thunderstorms every afternoon, but they never materialize. Just wind, heavy clouds, humid and hot.

Easter egg hunt at school in a little while. Aren't we glad we go to a school where we can celebrate Easter, and not just the bunny???

Tru - you are no longer in my will

Hey, Little Cobra - glad you enjoy the finer things in life.

Ron61 - had to go for another ride today. Only two hours today but caught in a downpour about 2 miles from my house. Good excuse for wiping down the Cobra in the garage. Hope the rain here diminishes the rain out there. Tommorrow I think I'll put away the snowblower for the season. Hit 70 ºF today and was riding without a jacket

Everyone but Tru - I posted the first video I took with my new camera. Not too bad for an idiot.

Warren,

We had our first day in 3 months yesterday that was nice. Sunny and 72 degrees and I had to work in the yard all day. Wanted to go for a drive, but I still have a river flowing across my driveway and about 1/2 inch of mud down near the end that I don't want to drive through. So I mowed the yards. Have you ever mowed a lawn where you had from 1/4 to 3/4ths of an inch of water standing hidden in the tall grass and weeds? Really exciting when the mower hits those places and sinks so far the blade starts slinging mud and water.

Ron
Glad to see ya out of the house, at least it was not raining.

If the ride yesterday was nice, it looks like today will be just as nice. About 62 ºF now and going to about 68 ºF per the weather channel.

Lets see - time for lunch, then I'll put the snowblower in the back of the garage .... and then maybe go for another ride!

Ain't spring wonderful????

Warren,

Boy was it good to get out of the house even if I had to work my tail off trying to get some of this mess mowed and cleaned up. It is getting overcast this morning and they say rain this afternoon and for the next three days. Right now it is pretty nice and if I could get the cars out of my driveway without going through that river and mud, I would go for a ride. I went down with a shovel to see if I could remove some of the mud and it is just to much and to deepand there is to much water still running over it. And until Summer gets here and the water stops flowing so Jerry can tear out what is left of this driveway and put in a new one I am just kind of in a mess. I can't believe the weather that you are having.

Hey Ron, monopolize on the "MUD", along with the bottled water. You can open "Ron's house of Mud Baths and Bottled Water Emporium"........

Stay away from all that yard work or at least do it in moderation....we don't need you getting worn out..............

Cool

Earl,

I just came in from trying to figure a way to get around all of that mud and water flowing across the driveway and there is none. The mud has no bottom is seems as that is where the water forced the asphalt up and washed it away. Now is is starting to get dark and cooler so I guess the showers they said would be here this afternoon are getting close. I even looked to see if I could find any boards large enough to cover the water and mud so I could drive across them and I don't have any.

Kristen,

We had 1 1/2 days of sun and then yesteday afternoon it poured so hard I couldn't even watch TV as the satellilte signal couldn't get through. It is raining lightly this morning and the forecast is for showers and cold wind today and tomorrow. So this Winter continues to hang on and Spring will be gone soon.

For the rest of the REALLY OLD people who remember this show.

Ron

The Old Hollywood Squares "When jocularity was legal!" If you remember
The Original Hollywood Squares and its comics, this will bring a tear to
your eyes. These great questions and answers are from the days when
"Hollywood Squares" game show responses were spontaneous! Peter
Marshall was the host asking the questions, of course.

Q. Do female frogs croak? A. Paul Lynde: If you hold their little
heads under water long enough.

Q. If you're going to make a parachute jump, at least how high should
you be? A. Charley Weaver: Three days of steady drinking should do it.

Q. True or False, a pea can last as long as 5,000 years. A. George
Gobel: Boy, it sure seems that way sometimes.

Q. You've been having trouble going to sleep. Are you probably a man or
a woman? A. Don Knotts: That's what's been keeping me awake.

Q. According to Cosmo, if you meet a stranger at a party and you think
that he is attractive, is it okay to come out and ask him if he's
married? A. Rose Marie: No, wait until morning.

Q. Which of your five senses tends to diminish as you get older? A.
Charley Weaver: My sense of decency.

Q. In Hawaiian, does it take more than three words to say "I Love You"?
A. Vincent Price: No, you can say it with a pineapple and a twenty.

Q. What are "Do It," "I Can Help," and "I Can't Get Enough"? A.
George Gobel: I don't know, but it's coming from the next apartment.

Q. As you grow older, do you tend to gesture more or less with your
hands while talking? A. Rose Marie: You ask me one more growing old
question Peter, and I'll give you a gesture you'll never forget.

Q. Paul, why do Hell's Angels wear leather? A. Because chiffon
wrinkles too easily.

Q. Charley, you've just decided to grow strawberries. Are you going to
get any during the first year? A. Charley Weaver: Of course not, I'm
too busy growing strawberries.

Q. In bowling, what's a perfect score? A. Rose Marie: Ralph, the pin
boy.

Q. It is considered in bad taste to discuss two subjects at nudist
camps. One is politics, what is the other? A. Paul Lynde: Tape
measures.

Q. During a tornado, are you safer in the bedroom or in the closet?
A. Rose Marie: Unfortunately Peter, I'm always safe in the bedroom.

Q. Can boys join the Camp Fire Girls? A. Marty Allen: Only after
lights out.

Q. When you pat a dog on its head he will wag his tail. What will a
goose do? A. Paul Lynde: Make him bark?

Q. If you were pregnant for two years, what would you give birth to?
A. Paul Lynde: Whatever it is, it would never be afraid of the dark.

Q. According to Ann Landers, is their anything wrong with getting into
the habit of kissing a lot of people? A. Charley Weaver: It got me out
of the army

Q. While visiting China, your tour guide starts shouting "Poo! Poo!
Poo! "What does this mean? A. George Gobel: Cattle crossing.

Q. It is the most abused and neglected part of your body, what is it?
A. Paul Lynde: Mine may be abused but it certainly isn't neglected.

Q. Back in the old days, when Great Grandpa put horseradish on his
head, what was he trying to do? A. George Gobel: Get it in his mouth.

Q. Who stays pregnant for a longer period of time, your wife or your
elephant? A. Paul Lynde: Who told you about my elephant?

Q. When a couple have a baby, who is responsible for its sex? A.
Charley Weaver: I'll lend him the car, the rest is up to him.

Q. Jackie Gleason recently revealed that he firmly believes in them and
has actually seen them on at least two occasions. What are they? A.
Charley Weaver: His feet

Q. According to Ann Landers, what are two things you should never do in
bed? A. Paul Lynde: Point and Laugh.

nice driving the stang around a little today!

have boiled the eggs, they're cooling off. #4 has a friend over, and I guess we'll dye the eggs in a bit.
ah, hi, Steve. haven't heard from you in awhile. glad florida is doing so well with you.
#1 has a friend over. Playing Madden ?? on Play station. #3 is somewhere. #2 at Six Flags with church youth group.
All is well. Thinking I might see about hooking up the 'fixed' computer. See if it's 'fixed', at all. Don't know what the problem is with the camera's memory stick, though. Always something. Have had a CD made of the pics on the memory stick. don't know how to load that, though. hmmm.
Maybe I'll get to it.....
seeya!

Question

Anyone know how the Easter Bunny and Eggs got started as an Easter tradition? Ihave never seen a bunny lay a chicken egg and have not found how any of that got involved in Easter. Just wondering.

Oh dear, I am sore. Moved rocks for people for church. I still do not feel like a tractor.

Happy holidays to all!!!!

The Wings won last night. With 8.9 seconds left, they scored a goal to put them above St. Louis.
