Too much rain, but
at least I got enough time before this rain started to open up my summer shack.

Pretty nice Warren.
I guess if you plan to spend more than time in the summer you'll add on ?

Fred
That's just the sleeping quarters for all the girls that want to ride in the Cobra.

Fred,
I am guessing that is for the girls that want to ride in the Cobra if you aren't in it.

Warren,
Is this a common reaction to your "dingy" from your girls ?

Glad you made it back, reasonably together. No under car situations this year???
Looks like a similar layout to last year- but like twice the cars! I bet main str. was really neat.
Any pics of the guy when he won the car?? I know they had to call him, but did he show up later?
And, was there not a poker run?? I really would like to do one of those sometime.

No poker run and it rained three times while on the run.
I did not stick around for the car pickup. It was dark and I was beat.
They auctioned a bunch of stuff and they also had door prizes ( a nice touch ).
There were probably about 200 to 300 cars. All the side streets had cobras parked on them.
Had a few people asking me if you, Kristen, we coming. I said you were very busy and regretted not being able to attend.
I did the PIC thing on CC, but Erich took almost all of the pics.
It was a good drive home.

Not a Cairn
Kristen
Remember the Cairn on page 37 of this thread. This picture does NOT include a Cairn, but I though it would make a good/different backdrop.
Oh yaaa ... no PNB & J tonight. Just started the corned beef I put off to go for a ride a couple of nights ago.

Warren,
This is where you should be driving. Only in New Mexico would they put up this sign.

Wishful thinking or maybe they were smoking it.
Gotta go for a couple hour ride while supper is cooking. I'll save a piece for you.

Warren,
Hope that you enjoyed the ride. Now come on out here and take one in our 118 degree heat with the humidity. If I open my garage door, both of my cars cower back toward the back of the garage. Even Jamo and his Corvette got a taste of it a while back when he had to come up to Yuba City I think it was and it wasn't as hot there as it was on up here. Of course. it is hot and humid in the Fresno area too and he didn't suffer the way you would.
One of these days when he has some time and is up here maybe we can make a run up to Mt. Lassen or Mt. Shasta and be in the snow while it is hot here. They should finally get the road through Lassen open this weekend if nothing else happens.

A 90 minute ride turns frowns into smiles. especially when the temp is only 78 ºF.
Went down a road that had some new jersey cement barriers for about 1/4 mile. With the side exhaust about 2 feet away, the sound was fantastic. Almost as good as a Cobra at full song in a long tunnel (like the Big Dig tunnels). I want to thank you Ron (and all of you out there) for the money.
It used to take me about 45 minutes to get to Logan airport - now about 15 minutes max.
Time to peel the potatoes
