Isn't online banking fun? Where else can I pay $2300 for 12 bills, all in less than 3 minutes? I gotta stop spending so much, especially since none of the bills had anything to do with the Cobra.
At least the Mt Shasta Goddess is snoring. Just got back from a short ride. Time to go back out to a local cruise night ... 72 ºF outside. Autumn in August .....
First ride in 3 months??? Time for last rites! Guess I'll have to post some more pics with hot babes to get your blood pumping?

Warren,
It is just not fun to go for rides when the temperature is 115/119 degrees and there is some humidity. Even today with it just at 102 I was soaking wet when I finally got home.

I had to cut my second ride short tonite. Temp down to 69 ºF and no jacket.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
115/119 ????? Sorry, thats an oven. Would have to buy one of those new Caddys with the seats that heat and cool.
Fred Flinstone downshifts a lot ... all the way into first. It also is a benefit if you have a lot of corns and/or bunions to act as disc feet.
Its going to be a scorcher here tomorrow ... supposed to get all the way up to 83 ºF.

My Next Car!
I just got a new Lincoln Town Car, and returned to the dealer the next week, complaining that I couldn't figure out how the radio worked. The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated ... "Watch this ."
He said, "Nelson!"
The radio responded, "Ricky or Willie?"
"Willie!" he replied ... and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers.
I drove away happy and for the next few days every time I'd say, "Beethoven!" I'd get beautiful classical music, or if I said, "Beatles!" I'd get one of their awesome songs.
One day, a couple ran a red light and nearly creamed my new car, but I swerved in time to avoid them and yelled ... "ASSHOLES!" The French National Anthem began to play, sung by Jane Fonda and Michael Moore, backed up by Rev. Jesse Jackson on guitar, Al Sharpton on drums, and Howard Stern on kazoo.
Damn! I love this car!

My radio died, can I have yours?
Ron, that was good.
Warren is out and about, I might have to go to New England next year, just to see all those sites he keeps telling us about.
Invited to a car show, turned it down. I can not let my car sit with thousadns of people walking around from 6:00am to 9:30 pm at night.
Oh well.

Tru,
I feel the same way about the car shows any more. I just don't care for having to be there at 7 in the morning until 6 in the evening. And people won't pay any attention to the Do Not Touch signs thay put on them. One of the guys here came back to his car and found two teen age boys sitting in it and shifting the gears. Really flew into a rage and almost got himself as well as them kicked out of the show.
There is some really beautiful country up Warren's way. I haven't been there for many years, but always liked the scenery when I was younger and travled a lot. And there is a lot of history back there which I really enjoy.

I am going to be doing a bit of running around tonight.
Got a cable TV to connect for a friend.
Got to make a firepit.
Got to try the rear lamp thingy and see if the 2057 will do the job.
All before I fall asleep.

Wow, a full tank of gas. My tank is rusty above the $15 dollar mark and that is getting lower every time I get gas.
I have to take the Comet over this morning to have the wheel alignment checked as I need new front tires. Will be happy when that is over as I hate hanging around those places.

Warren,
Yes, back in the winter when we were flooding it got down into the 40s and 30s a few times. But it is hard to notice cold temperatures when you are getting 4 to 8 inches of rain per day. They did finally get the snow out of the highway through Lassen Park so it is now open.
No chance for a drive yesterday as I spent the morning having work done on the Comet. Had to have the front end aligned and the mess the last place mad straightened out. Now I have to figure out a way to get money to buy new tires.
