Warren,
I once asked the barber if he would cut mine for 5 cents per hair and he refused. I have saved money by buying that set of clippers and having Jack's wife cut it. Takes all of about 5 minutes to trim the 12 hairs I have left.
Earl,
That is indeed heartening news and I pray that everything continues to improve.

Just talked with Kristen.
Trip up there is going good with zero problems.
Said is was 66* and P/C. 27 miles to Springfield.
Thinks about 3-4 more hours to go.

Not too good this afternoon for a ride ....
but a 3 hours nap was a good substitute.
Guess I'll get some supper delivered. Too late to cook anything.

Fred, ask her to get some shots!
I can't afford to do the Run & Gun, so she's gonna have to represent our interests.

Dear Abby,
I've never written to you before, but I really need your advice on what
could be a crucial decision.
I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me.
The usual signs... phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My
wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I
ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't
know them."
I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always
walks down the drive. Although I can hear a car driving off, as if she
has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a
taxi?
I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she
went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and
why was I checking up on her.
Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep
down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out
again and I decided to really check on her. I decided I was going to
park my Harley next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get
a good view of the whole street when she came home. It was at that
moment, crouching behind my Harley , that I noticed the engine might be
leaking a little oil.
Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the
repair shop?
Thanks,
Bob

Okay, first and formost; take the bike into the shop and have the tech dry up the engine. It will be more than just that gasket.
Second.....IT SNOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes kids, it snowed on the way in this morning.
I wasn't able to pull the wood stove out of the family room, so it will have to serve for another year as it is now going to be fired up.

Tru,
Snow already. You may be in for a long and cold Winter. Our weather is just now getting perfect if the wind would just stop blowing. Get the garage warm so you can finish your small projects on the Cobra.

Wash you mouth out with snow.
Had to take off my jacket while driving this afternoon. Got up to about 75 ºF during the ride. But it was getting cloudy so I cut the ride short .. only went about 20 miles.
Really like the landscaping in an office park in Braintree about 7 miles from my house
Everybody and their grandmother is planting hardy mums .... at least they look good. Look better than the ones outside my house ... huummmmm ... time for midnight discount?????
Still cloudy but no snow .... meatloaf in oven ... smells gud

Warren,
Those are great pictures and I really like the one with the house in the background on the hill. Here is a picture of what Tru has in story for him.

There is snow on the ground.
I am going to have to step up my winter preps.
I noticed Warren hasn't asked his daughter to be in any more of his pictures.
I caught the Mug shot of Warren and I have to ask...Warren? Do you ever smile?
Oh, I get it, you have to be going through the gears to smile.

Tru,
I went for a drive yesterday to the pet store as I had to pick up some things and now I have a project. One of my fans isn't getting juice and it is in one of that cluster fu** of wires under the dash. The guy that originally wired it gave me a schematic of which wire went to the toggle switch and how they were ran. Right. Not a single dam wire is the color he said it was. The toggle switch has those dam white wires with the little numbers that I can't read at all on it and trying to see upside down under that dash is just murder. I did just go up front and find the power leads to the fans and connected them together and now they both run, but I am going to have to try to trace those leads out from under the dash and see where the connection came loose. He just spliced white leads to colored ones all over the car and kept no records of where the splices were or which color was connected to which white lead, and then shrink wrapped the dam wiring loom. I may wind up just running a new wire as it is impossible to get to the loom with the motor in. I am not a happy person but I can drive the car as both fans work the way I have it now and it has never even turned them on except in traffic on hot days or when I first shut the engine off after a long drive and it is hot. Want to come help me as I am sure you can get under that dash and read those little black numbers on the wires better than I can. FIRDAY THE 13th

Tru,
After this talk about you getting snow,I pulled out my Atlas to see if I could locate your home town.Wasn't that easy to find. How many people live there ? Has to be some great areas to go riding in.
Now that it has snowed,is that it for the Cobra till Spring ?
