I'm hopeful today I can load up the zillions of pics from run n gun. It was an unbelievable event. Glad I could go.
Really happy with all of my track events/times. Not too bad for a newbie at Gateway!! We did lead/follow about 6 times, and it was most beneficial to take several laps around each session behind someone that really knows the line. I think my best time on the roval was around 1:25 or something. I'll let you know.
good to be home! Will unload Pepe today too.

A little over a year ago my house had doubled in 7 years.Still sitting in the same range now.
Seemed like everyone in my area had For Sale signs up and were selling quickly. So I decided to see what other house I could get if I sold and stayed in this area.
Found out I could get another house comparable to what I have now. NO GAIN.
Surprise surprise - everything thing else had doubled too.
The only way to take advantage of the increase was to downsize or move to another area with a lower cost of living.
So with everything pretty much raising and falling on the same tide,I'm staying put and not worrying about it.
Have to live somewhere.

I did my ebay rant. I have a simple wish, please let me win the lotto...so I can give away the junk in the barn.
Does that make sense??

Tru,
If you win the lotto, you can give away the barn too.

You can also adopt me!
Getting bored - rainy and cold the last couple of days.
Rain tomorrow, but looks like mid-60's and sunny on Thursday.
Waiting for Kristens post on the Run N Gun .....

Cold and dark here most of the day yesterday. The wind is blowing this morning but it doesn't seem as cold. It was 42 yesterday morning. This wind is really making a mess of my sinuses and I am afraid to go out driving in it. I think I may go down to Bill's today and see how he is getting along on the new GTs he is building. So far two years and he has a chassis and motor set in it. No body. But the chassis looks well done and I like the way the seats lift up and then out to make it easier to get in and out of.

Not the barn, I spent too much time building it!
Just all the stuff I do not want in the barn, I would just give it away or sell it for $.01.
I like the barn too much..especially with the lift and machinery I have. Maybe I would get a new lathe...Hmmm...
If I hit the Lotto, I think I would get a second car to play with.
Ah dreams, those thoughts that make the day a pleasure to look forward to.

Tru,
I will mail the .01¢ today. You must have some stuff I can do something with.
Ah, yes, I really wonder what I would change if I were to win a big pile of money. Of course by the time the Govt. took their 4/5ths of it, I would have to cut down on any huge and expensive ideas.

4/5ths, sounds about right.
I wonder what happens if the person that wins, is in a foreign country.

Winning the lottery will just screw up your tax forms. Think of all the extra time you would have to spend filling out those forms.
Today started of cloudy and 98% humidity. It was tough breathing outside. But about 2 PM, the humidity broke and the temp shot up to 70 ºF. Just got back from a 2.5 hour ride to nowhere. It was nice.
Its been in the high 30's at night, but overall, not too bad. Supposed to be sunny and about 70 ºF tomorrow. I have a dentist appt at 2 PM, so I guess I'll have to take the Cobra. Any excuse for a ride.

Kristen,
I looked at the pictures and read your story. All great and it looks as if you had a great time. Congratulations on the trophies and for doing a great job of staying on track and keeping up with the more experienced drivers.

Kristen - looks like it will take a month to get rid of your grin. Congrats.
Well, I had to take another ride today,l especially since I spent about 2 hours cleaning it yesterday. It got up to 71 ºF this afternoon. Found a nice park in Milton that I never knew was there. Probably drove past it 300 times. Small road winds about 3 miles thru the trees. Found a really nice spot to take some pics.
