Went for a 1 hour ride yesterday and a 2 hour ride today.
Stand way a way from any shopping centers.
Suppose to be in the 70's for the next 5 days.

It has been 34° here the last two mornings and some pouring rain late yesterday. Supposed to be more rain today and tomorrow with the snow level dropping below 3,000 feet. Absolutely not driving weather, though I did put the long exhaust extensions on the 69 Cobra and run it in the garage yesterday until the oil and water got up to temperature. That garage is like a walk in freezer.

That's cute. We don't harvest the deer in the back yard. We go back to the tower to hunt.
I think we have had over 100 deer through the yard in the past four days. We also have had two fox, an assortment of squirrels and birds.

Well I could just about fish in my front yard today. Cold and pouring rain. And the forecast is for rain until next Wednesday and then clear and cold Thursday and Friday. Winter is definitely here. Snow level at 1,500 feet now.

Man it was like 70 today. I picked up the tree, fixed the barn, hung lights, Hunted in the morning and put up a new mail box ( F^*&#$g kids ).
We go through at least two mail boxes a year from kids smashing it or trucks running it over.
Well, got to go back to work tomorrow.

i haven't been terribly productive today.
got a few things done yesterday, though. laundry is running out of control.
took the yukon xl to get a 'real' car wash. waxed and everything. it was sooo messy and dirty.
a lot to do, but not very motivated.
hmmmm.
the temp. is quite warm, but it is muggy and cloudy.
ttyl.

we live on a curve, and our mailbox is near the apex. if somebody whacked it, it would be a big problem!! it's all set in a big brick thing.
i can't believe in 5 days of 'holiday' i didn't get the dragstrip pictures in a scrapbook. dumb. wasted a lot of time these few days, but tomorrow everything gears up for the big nasty holiday shopping season.
gross. i hate to shop!!!!

Bad day ahead. I have to take both of my little dogs to the vets and I fear that Sherry won't be coming back. Maybe they can do something for Teddy but I am not holding my breath. This has not been a good weekend at all for me and I think my nerves are gone for good now. I talked to SBC about dropping off the Internet the first of the year, so I may not be around much longer. At least that will make a lot of people happy. And if you think I am depressed, I passed that level 4 days ago. And to top that off it is still raining. This dark gloomy weather is really a big help at a time like this.

Ron,
I'm very sorry to hear about Sherry & Teddy. It can't be easy on you.
Frenchy just plays with her bongos and everything is cool.

This would not be good for the Chat Thread Ron.
It would start an internal power struggle that would be long remembered.
Kristen,Warren and Tru battling it out for the position as Biggest Turkey.
I think Warren has the lead going in though, lots of experience.

Tru,
Why are you waiting to post? The only wait period I know of is I think 90 seconds between posts.

Fred,
Thanks. I am home now and they are both in the hospital for at least two days while Ken does tests and tries to decide which is best. At 14 years old Sherry's options are limited. He thinks they may have to do surgery on Teddy's left hind knee as that seems to be what is starting the things that we used to think were spells. It seems to kick out to the side from time to time and lock, which causes a lot of pain and causes him to draw up into a ball which I thought was some kind of spell. I told him to run every test they can on both of them and call me when they had something to report. He has agreed to take the replica to pay the bill and I will just sign it over to him.

Thats ok Tru. I am sure he will take either of them. And I sure don't need them any more. Do you want to drive it from here or haul it? That snow level at 1,000 foot and above was bull. It is all over the little hills just the other side of the dam and they are around 500 to 1,000 foot. And the sun just came out and it got at least 10 degrees colder.

Tru,
I am almost positive I told someone that didn't have a Cobra they could have this one. You have a nice one. My vet bill will be much more than this one is worth.
