Well happy Sunday to all of you. Kristen, thanks for the call and it really made my day. Going to be another cool and damp, gloomy day here today with rain forecast for all week.
I got another call later yesterday evening from another cousin and he told me that the one cousin that I used to really know and like had passed away several weeks ago. She was a few years older than me and spent her whole life with some kind of bond disease that made her bones very brittle . she had several hundred surgeries over her life and hadn't answered any of my letters for several years and I had been unable to contact her by phone. I asked Richie if he would have his Uncle go see if my Father's 30-30 Carbine was still there as I sent it to her a long time ago. I feel bad that none of the rest of the family even contacted me about her passing, but I haven't heard a word from any of them for over 30 years so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I think her Brother passed away a few years ago and I wonder which of the relatives will fight over her property. She has 240 acres there. I would like to go through the house and see if any of my old college stuff my Mother sent back to them to keep is still around.

Sun is out, streets are dry, and its supposed to get up to 52 ºF today.
Guess what I'm going to do today.

Santa Frog...I have now heard it all.
Well, my father-in-law survived yesterday's surgery. We've got some drame here at the farm.
I must say, there has been four days of rain. This has got to be the wettest December I can rememeber.
I've started another book, not sure if I like what I wrote yet. Hmmmmm...gonna have to test it out on someone.
Well, all you have a great holiday and a happy new year!!!!! ( I say this to people and they look at me weird, I do not know why )
May your roads be dry and the weather warm. May your engine sing and carry you out of the storm. ( sounds like I could write some poet junk here ).

All good reading Warren. Maybe he will include more pictures in this one for you. I believe the cover will feature a big Turtle.
By the way have a very Merry Christmas. It is cold here as usual and I think overcast but it is to dark to tell for sure. Have a great day.

Hi all, just to let you know, cat 2 tornados, we are all OK here.....I went out to work and found an airplane had been picked up and thrown into the building which then caught fire.....the hanger where they work on the fleet is pretty much toast....was supposed to leave for Georgia in the morning, may wait till Wednsday now.....went by the police dept and saw a bunch of the fleet cars damaged...of course they called me to come in and work just as "ALL" the family started showing up here at the house...had to decline for now...boy, being retired and only Part Time has its advantages....Jan. 1st will be 28 years with the PD...hard to believe....
Well, Merry Christmas to all and Thank the Lord for Our Safety!!!!!!!!!!!!
