Warren probably partied to hard last night and then froze while taking a ride. I thought we were going to have a decent day here today as it has gotten almost into the 50s but the darned wind has started blowing and it is cold. Kristen had a big party planned I think, so she is probably resting. I guess we are the only ones up and about.

Warren,
Your weather is about like ours except we have a cold wind blowing and no rain. The forecast said it would reach the upper 50s today but I don't think so as it is partially overcast blocking any heat from the sun and that wind is cold.
Gads, another big party tonight. We probably won't hear from you for the rest of the week.

Drove the Cobra this morning...temp in the 60's, and clear blue skies. Woke up to the sound of the B2 bomber circling MY house, preparing for its trip over the Rose Parade in Pasadena.
Happy New Year to all!!!

Sharroll,
I don't suppose you would like to exchange weather would you? I actually thought that we were going to have a couple of days this week that would be nice enough to drive, but now they have changed the forecast and say rain and cold wind the rest of the week.

Well I watched USC Fall apart and lose to that team from South America. I think they call themselves the Texas Longhorns. At least my basketball team is still doing well as UCLA won both games this weekend.

Warren,
Well I see you are up early or are you just getting home from the party? The next two weeks are going to be a mess for me as I have a dozen things to do and of course I have to run back and forth to Redding as I can't do any two of them on the same day. It is cold and windy here this morning. As usual.

Can anyone guess what I'm going to do for the next few days?
Sunny, with high temps of 46, 52 and 55 ºF for the next 3 days.

Warren,
I guess I will be talking to the Mt. Shasta Goddess about sending some of the weather you should be having your way. We are way short of our normal rainfall for now, but it is just staying cold and windy. I have about given up on any driving weather this Winter.

Please thank the Goddess for dumping all of her snow on the Denver area. I really like that ... but my nephew does not. He lives just outside Denver. Great area to live. I was out there on vacation for a couple of weeks about 3 years ago in a 40 ft RV.
We had a really warm December, average of 53 ºF which was within 0.5 ºF of the record. Temp is 32 ºF right now but high is supposed to be 53 ºF. Tomorrow supposed to be 57 ºF. Both days with no clouds. I'm going for at least 1 ride.
Working on your new/old laptop ... digging out all of the associated parts and drives.
Time for some breakfast. Homemade corned beef hash with a dropped egg. Ummmmmmm

Warren,
Our Winter is really starting out strange. We normally have much more rain by now and also some nice days to drive, but so far about all we have had is a day or so of hard rain, lots of very cold wind, and just cold days with the highs in the 40s. This may be a dry Winter and if it is, there won't be many days it will warm up a lot.
I have to go into Redding this morning to renew my CCP as the two years are up. I wish they had parking for the public closer than five blocks away. That is the only bad thing about doing this as it is quick and easy once you get in there.
