You thief ... I posted that same joke about six months ago.
You are a plagiarist. If it wasn't raining I'd go for a ride to cool off, I'm so mad. The INTERNET police will find you and then you'll be in for a surprise.
OK, got to get back to the movie ... Gone in 60 Seconds

Warren,
Don't you have that movie memorized yet? They have shown it 5 times here in the last two weeks and I think I know the lines almost as well as the actors. It was a good movie and I also liked Vanishing Point. I watch the classic series like MASH, Home Improvements and such. Really don't care much for most of the new stuff they put out. A few good new shows but not nearly as many as they used to have. At least in MHO.

Yes, you are right, I do not want to go to India.
Ron did a good job with that joke. It was well timed and presented.
Old or new version of Gone? Both were on last night. I watched that Jake 2.0. After the second episode, I was done. That one has been written about and put into a movie more than a I have fingers and toes.
Raining for the sixth day. It stops and dries a little, then it starts all over again. It may get cold next week.
Well????

Tru,
It is cold here now. My neighbor's house had icicles hanging about 8" long from the eves this morning. The sun is up now but thew temperature is just now climbing near the 40 mark. And it looks as if everything is on fire as there is so much steam rising off the fences and houses around here. Even mu chain link fence has it coming off all the way around the place.

Time for a ride!

Temperature actually hit 70 ºF in some towns close to Boston. I went for a nice 2 hr ride and bought some Stabil. Hopefully I will not need it. Second ride so far in 2007.
Took another picture of Ron's favorite tree.

The Real Meaning Of Peace
Author Unknown
There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist
who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists
tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there
were only two he really liked, and he had to choose
between them.
One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a
perfect mirror for peaceful towering mountains all around
it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds.
All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect
picture of peace.
The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged
and bare. Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all.
But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest - in perfect peace.
Which picture do you think won the prize? The king chose the second picture. Do you know why?
"Because," explained the king, "peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace."

Well it is cold here and there are icicles on the eves, but the forecast said it would be in the mid 50s this afternoon. So far they missed it every day last week, so no reason to expect them to start this week off any better. My heater has ran for the last two weeks.

Warren,
Nice picture as usual. I can't wait until your weather turns normal and that tree has 8" of snow on it. It is really nice here today for the first time in a month or so. Just a light wind blowing and I have worked most of the afternoon cutting rose bushes. I hate those things when it is time to cut them. I look like I have been fighting with about a dozen angry cats.
Kristen,
The story was just one that I received in an e-mail and thought was kind of interesting. Now your car, that is a thing of beauty. I must have gone and looked at that picture a half dozen times.

Warren,
Just keep on bragging about your weather. One of these days it will change. I just wish we had more days here like yesterday. But it is cool this morning and the wind is already blowing pretty well, so I doubt if this afternoon is going to be anything like yesterday afternoon was. Tomorrow is my day to go to the doctor. I don't want to but have no choice. Next week I have to take Teddy back to the vets for Ken to check his leg and anything else that might need checking.
Jeez, you are turning into a turtle packing Kristen. Spell a word wrong and you are right on it. Is icicle any better?
