Seeing how it was 7 degrees this morning, we will be heading south for a week in beautiful Texas to hunt and get warm.

Freecell. I'm hooked on that game. I have kept a record of all the games I've completed without using any of the freecells. I'm up to 325 games w/o using any of the freecells.
Woe is me!

Snow angels are actually snow turtles. They were first done by the Wherethefuggowie indian tribe of Massachusetts.
Only 7 ºF. Gee, it was a balmy 8 ºF when I got up this morning. It's all the way up to 16 ºF now.
Yesterday the oil burner guy replaced the pressure relief valve. When I went downstairs for breakfast this morning, the temp was 55 ºF. The heaters upstairs were working, but no heat downstairs.
Called him back, and he was here in about an hour. The circulator pump was bad. Guess my $167 service contract was well worth it this year!
Kristen - I have a pair of G70-15 Firestone bias ply "redline" studded snow tires if you want them. They were bought in 1970 so they would not be period correct on Pepe, but close enough.

WARREN!! I started the same thing.
I have a page of game numbers that I can solve without using the freecells.
Dang, I thought I was the only one stragne enought to do that.
We are going to hunt Wild PIG/Boar.
BTW, the Wherethefuggowie Indians are native to Michigan, NOT Mass. I mean come on...what happens when you run into Canada?

Warren,
Boy you are up early. All that cold keep you from sleeping? It is in the upper 30s here now but that wind blew so hard all night it was hard to sleep. Once the weather around here warms up, the roofing companies are going to be busy. I have my shed roof covered with a tarp that the wind keep blowing off and I have to keep putting back. I am about ready to nail then darn thing down. We have had wind for over three weeks now, some really hard and some just a steady 25/35 MPH breeze.

Kristen,
We could sure use a lot of your rain. How about if we send all the wind and cold we have to you and you send us the rain. If we don't get rain and snow in the mountains, next Summer the lake is going to be really low.

Would you believe this? I just saw on the news where a BLIZZARD had closed I-5 North of Los Angles. For crying out loud, that stuff was supposed to stay in Texas where it belongs. This cold wind here is just keeping the clouds away I guess.

Mikw Z,
The weather is crazy all over his state. I used to liver in Santa Barbara many years ago and I don't ever remember it getting cold like that. But it has changed here too. We should be having a lot of rain and all we have is freezing temperatures and continual wind day and night.
Warren,
I don't know what to think about your weather. Maybe while we are having Summer you will be shoveling snow.

Yesterday at this time it was 8 ºF and today its 34 ºF. Have to go shopping so I can have my special dinner tonight or tomorrow ... corned beef. Yummmmmm, as Kristen would say.
Watched some of BJ last night. A lot of the prices were a lot lower than last year, IMHO.
Snow? What is that? Boy, I'm going to get it now! Pele and the Mt Shasta Goddess are wimps. Snow in Malibu, ice storms in OK & TX, 70 ºF in Boston in January. That temp broke the record by 8 ºF. EIGHT degrees higher than the old record. WOW.
Its raining a little with a little snow right now ... but no accumulation. My pansies that I planted in April are probably going to die. I'm amazed those buggers are still in bloom, especially since they are in constant shade since early October.
Time to pay some bills ... the pile is getting toooooooooo high!
