wow, Steve! great to see you come visit. stop by more often, if you can.
Ron.... i was meaning to go to school to pick up kids....
#3 is in 4th grade, made the 'academic team' for Poetry reading.... I'm 'coaching' her team at 2:15-3, every Wednesday.
#4 gets out at 2:45, so on wednesday's, a friend is getting her, and bringing her to the elementary building, where i am coaching.
#2 gets out at 3:10 or so.
#1?? Peter?? drives himself home!!! yea!!!!
Wednesday's are also gymnastics day--- so..... i pick up 3 EXTRA girls, we all go to Sonic for a drink, then I bring #2 son home, then trek up to tumbling. They change into gym clothes, and they have class at 4. I come home.... start dinner, and another mom brings them home at 6. Works well. Dinner on the table when they walk in the door.
Trey comes over for dinner on Wednesday's, too.
easy dinner tonight- sloppy joes, tater tots, ranch style beans and salad. easy easy....
Tomorrow?? hmmm.... all school chapel, 10:15 - 10:45... mall to do some Christmas exchanges, etc. then lunch out, back to school to pickup at 2:45... all over again!! #2 has basketball game at school at 6:30. Probably eat BBQ out before hand. Then home... then Friday.... scrapbook day!!!
yea!!! oh, and Tru arrives!!!
need to find soap and toilet paper. you know; essentials....

Ron - bite me .. I'm ambidextrous Loved the camel shot. Copied it and set it to my brother-in-law, a true camera nut.
Tru - have fun in Tx .. no flashing with new shower curtains.
K - my condolences regarding your border (No, not the one with Mexico .... your impending visitor). Hope the new missle arrives safe and sound. Have you named it yet? Pepe, Jr.? Froggie?
Steve - stop hijacking this thread to nowhere
Just got back from my eyedoctor ... I'm not blind yet and no change in prescription. Guess my Mom was wrong about that blindness thing.
Decisions, decisions .... left over meatloaf or corned beef dinner tonight????

No, Gerry and I offered to camp if we were going to be too much of a bother.
her and Dave have always been great hosts.
Well, three hours till I leave work and wrap up my business. I haven't had time off in so long, I am not sure I will know what to do...other than hunt.
Steve, change your town and state.

I found an old picture of Tru when he was a kid. This method can also be used today in case he needs a "timeout".

Temp is at 4 ºF with a wind chill of -15 ºF
Tru - do you want to go for a midnight ride? Supposed to get down in the negative numbers with -25 ºF wind chill. Guess its time to get out my heavy jacket. Guess that lightweight sweater is not enough anymore.

Warren,
Your weather is finally getting back close to normal. Now if you could just get the 4 foot of snow. It has been in the upper 50s and low 60s here the past three afternoons. Don't know what today is supposed to be like as all I have is the weather forecast to go on, so will have to wait until later to see what it is like.

Tru,
She is making Brownies for you. That must mean she expects you to show up all dirty and brown. Forget the shower curtain. Just go dip him in the stock yard pond.

That laptop has about 150,000 miles on it, over 3 or 4 continents. Its been rebooted at least 1000 times. I thought it was a gonner a couple of years ago when I dropped it onto a concrete pad from about 4 feet. Had trouble after that but I fixed most of the problems (like not booting!).
Hope you have fun with it.
The floppy drive is in the mail. It can be swapped with the cd-rom drive. With computer off, just pull out one drive and slide in the other. There is also a cable in the mail so you can have one drive in the slot, and the second drive attached thru the 30 pin connector on the back. Cable is foolproof, so you should be able to figure it out within an hour or so ....
Kristen - do you need any duct tape for the "Tru timeout station"?
Darn --- the gas prices are down to $2.05 for regular. I want to go for a ride, but its only 6 ºF outside right now. Wind chill of about -20 ºF. Gawd its cold.

Kristen,
Yes, that is Pepe's calendar hanging on the wall.
Warren,
You only bent the roll bar just a bit when you dropped it.
Tru & Friend are napping. You mean they traveled all the way to Texas to get to take a nap in your house? The rest of us must really be missing something.

Ron,
After driving non stop 20 hours to Dallas he needs to get his energy back up.
Tru has heard so much about Frenchy,he decided a trip down here was in order.
The rumor on the street is that he wants to hook up with Frenchy and learn to party like a animal.
Tru is going to need that nap.

Fred,
Just make sure he isn't kidding you and is actually Frog hunting.
Do you have a lot of wild boars there? We have them around here in the mountains, but not many people hunt them. In fact I have seen a couple of retired people who like to hike way back up into the canyons to fish in the streams that bought guns just to keep the wild pigs away. The only things I have seen are some deer and a bear or two.
