Tru,
Glad the hunt went so well. Now looking at all of Jay's cars should take another day or so. Is Kristen going to let you take Pepe for a drive?

Ron - I did not know they posted dead frogs in the obits. The only good frog is a dead frog.
Tru - once you look at Jays cars, you'll probably want to get adopted. I know I do

Warren,
Kristen's problem was that she had the video as an attachment to an e-mail.
Fred is strangely quite the past few days. Wonder what he has going on. Probably gathering a Turtle Army to Attack the Frogs. No wonder France changed their mind about letting Iran have nuclear weapons.

Fred, I hope your son is feeling better. This isn't anything to take lightly.
Well, we are waiting for the processor. Once he calls, we should be on our way.
I feel about ten years younger in some aspects and ten years older in others. Guess I'll just be me.
No Cobra rides here, it is cold for riding around.
Well, until I get back home. I'll be off line for a while.
Talk to you all later. Fred, Keep your fingers crossed, maybe it is a pulled muscle.

Fred,
Excuse my ignorance, but what are elevated ST segments? I really hope this turns out to be nothing. My best thoughts for you and Josh.

CoBro,
Not being a doctor I was unsure of just what that was also. I knew it had to do with the heart so I did a search and here is what I found.
The ST segment refers to a portion of the electrocardiogram (ECG)waveform.
This portion basically represents electrical waves coming from your heart as heart cells recharge themselves in between heart beats.
Doctors look at this portion to access the health of the cardiiac muscle. Essentially they look for either ST segment elevation or ST segment depression.
ST elevation: implies an ongoing acute myocardial infarct (fancy lingo for heart attack where heart cells are dying)
ST depression: implies ongoing ischaemia (fancy lingo for saying too little blood going to the heart without cells actually dying)
The ECG composes of many other components other that the ST segment and all these add to the final picture and a fuller interpretation of the health of a patient's heart.

wow! thinking of you and Josh, Fred. please keep us posted.
call me if you need to....
Trey- delivery just made.
the hunter's got on the road a couple of hours ago. Headed down to the processors' to get the meat, then on the road to Michigan. I think they were pleased with the hunt, and the overall 'vacation' was a good one! They even got to experience a little Texas snow yesterday afternoon.
again, Fred, we are all thinking of you, and Josh.

First off I thank y'all for your thoughts and prayers for Josh today ! It really does mean a lot to me.
We are home.
Extensive testing was done today after the results from yesterday's ECG.
The elevated ST segments were NOT repeated in the Cardiologist office.
The Cardio Echo showed NO extra fluid in the sac surrounding the heart.
The valves seal better than the flapper valve in my toilet.
My boy is back in the saddle again !!!!

what do they think were the CAUSE of the 'stabbing chest pains' in the first place??? Major gas?? indigestion?? heartburn?? reflux?? I'm still concerned about what caused the pains in the first place!
very very glad tho' to hear the good news from the cardiologists office.

Fred,
That is great news and I know that you are relieved. Hope that it never happens again.
Kristen,
I have a similar but less serious problem with my heart and have had it all my life. At time I will get a pain that is so bad I can hardly breathe. It may last a few seconds or a minute and then just quit. Had every test they know of and they really can't find anything but a minor heart murmur. And one other possible thing that I don't know what means. After numerous tests they concluded that my nerves actually cause the muscles around the heart to press against and I should immediately take several nerve pills and lay down for a few minutes. That works and it seems to be getting longer between those spells, but I am also taking more medication than I did before. Oh the fun of finally starting to get old. 10,000 years ago I would have passed it off as bad meat.

The Dr. thinks that Tru got it right after reviewing what Josh had been doing prior to the onset of the pains and the results of her tests.
He had been moving a 200+ lb. safe.
She ended up thinking he had torn some muscles on the left side of his chest.

Fred,
That is great news. Now for the serious part. Why wasn't YOU helping him move that 200 pound safe?

Here is a photo you might like.
At first you might think it was taken in Tru's or Warren's back yard.
This was taken from our scout plane north of Point Barrow,Alaska.I was the Manager of that Geophysical Seismic Survey Vessel and was on the Bridge when it was taken.
Our scout plane plotted the ice packs in the area we were going to work and then relayed the info back to me.
On this voyage we did a seimic survey further north off the coast of Alaska than had ever been done before.
