Looking at -23 wind chill. It is cold outside. Big difference from Texas.

Overcast and VERY COLD here this morning. Clear down into the low 40s. But that sure beats the four mornings of 30 degrees with all of the ice and frost. We are supposed to have rain starting Wednesday and lasting the rest of the week.

I finally got my March issue of Kit Car which covered the 06 Run & Gun. Nice going Kristen, and the picture of you and Pepe was good too. Darn, another year and you will be the one to beat.

Kristen,
Seeing as how I'll be "breaking in" your GT-500 before too long,I found a game to hone my skills a little.

It is a Reaction Time game with the 'Christmas Tree".It uses the Pro lights.
My best so far is a .061 rt.

http://www.pedregonracing.com/rt_game.asp

EDIT: Make that a .03 rt

I sleep all the time! I'm trying to advance to hibernation, but I do not have enough hair on my body!

Ron, did you get the floppy drive? Get it working?

Its a nice balmy 12 ºF outside with a wind chill of -15 ºF. Nothing compared to the temp last night of some place up by Tru where it was -43 ºF

Warren,

No, I have not received the floppy drive. I was wondering about that the other day and then got busy and forgot to ask about it. You did send it to the same address as the computer didn't you? But with the amount of mail they lose out here it is a wonder anything ever gets through.

whooohooo! Fred, i'm about 2*'s south of you; we're getting to 71* today!! yea!!!! ( )

somebody come raise up my garage door- need to get the mustang out! the gear stripped on the door opener and we are stuck!!

Today might be a great day to get the stang inspected, and cruise around a bit. hmmm. only have to pick up the two girls today.... maybe i'll go in the red one!

gotta get that door up first. darn. wish i had asked David and the boys to do that. Not sure I can lift it up by myself.

any suggestions??? raise it up and rest it on the trunk of the cobra???

Kristen,

Doesn't your garage door opener have an emergency disconnect that will disconnect it from the drive? Mine does in case the power goes out and all I do is trip it and the door is easy to raise up and put down. It should have a way to disconnect it from the gear. Otherwise use Fred's advise except hook the chain to the door and use a come along to pull it up. Or even easier. just start the car up, rev the engine, and drive right through it.
We are supposed to have rain starting here tomorrow but it was in the low 80s the past two days.

Ron

Default Superformance in Car and Driver

Say, Does anyone know what happened to the motor in the Superformance Coupe tested in the most recent Car and Driver? It is a Roush 427 and had some sort of problem that kept it from finishing the test.
