Red face

After my Feb non-ride #1 of last week, I took my Feb non-ride #2 today because the sun was out brightly and the temp soared all the way up to 20 ºF.

As you can see, there is some strange foreign subject on the driveway that has attacked the rubber compound in my Cobra tires. The traction is so bad that I put 127 miles on the odometer and never got out of the driveway.

After that quick ride (scenery was terrible), I closed the garage door quickly because turtle was embarrassed, and did not want to get grossed out by a hairy frog.

deleted pic in gallery ....

Sorry Ron, the ice is still around, but tomorrow is supposed to get up to 45 ºF.

Time for my pills ... beam me up Scottie

Warren,

I am sure the ice will be gone soon and you can at least take a drive to the street and back. These cars do not work well in ice or on wet roads do they. Maybe if you had Frenchy go along in front with a shovel or propane torch and melt the ice.

I hope the Mt Shasta Goddess drops a ton of frogs on your lawn.

I got plenty of frozen water for your plants. My bulbs will not need any for at least a couple of months ... I'm going on vacation ... anywhere its warm and they rent Cobras by the week!

Yea, Warren, remember all of those rides and pictures you kept posting while the rest of us was having lousy weather. We are supposed to have rain coming later today but I won't bet on it. Everything around here is all bluming and now I bet we will have a big freeze.

Warren, that garage looks like it was made for a cobra. Nice looking.

Ron, you are pushing your luck, that thumb size picture looks like there is a bowtie painted ont he back of a turtle.

Fred, well, that's what you get for living with a nerotic frog. You were probably holding on to the beer for your self and not sharing.

Any word from the Cobra godess?

Tru,

Click on the picture and it gets a little larger and easier to see. I couldn't find the one of a Frog that I was looking for.

Warren,

Your temperature is almost exactly what ours is right now. Except it is dark and supposed to start raining soon. I guess our few nice days are over, but with this weather any more you can never tell. I have been outside a little and it is just cold to me. Saturday morning I am going in to take a 2 hour digital camera class that I get free with the new camera. May as well use it as I have a couple of questions and this way I can ask them with the camera so they can actually show me. I won't be taking any movie or shots with sound so I won't worry about that as I can turn that on from one of the menus.

Some of the ice and snow is starting to melt, as usual there is a mess.

I suppose there will be another storm after MI starts to think it is over.

HMMMmmmmm.......

Ron, are you sure you are old enough to have an expensive camera like that?

Ice and snow melting big time here. Just went shopping and temp was 52 ºF. If the streets were not so wet, I would have taken the Cobra for a ride. I just don't get any thrill out of a 97 Merc with 125K miles with marshmellow shocks and stone age tires.

Just saw an ad on TV for a Chrysler that has a cup holder that is heated AND cooled. What are we coming too? Bad enough that we got cars that can parallel park by themselves, now we have intelligent cup holders!

8 speed transmissions, automatic variable trannies ... I'm waiting for one that drives by verbal commands Thankfully there will always be a market for autos like the Cobra.

Warren,

this camera actually cost less than the other one did when I got it about 5 years ago, and it has twice the stuff. It is an Olympus 7.1Mp with a 10 power optical zoom and another 297 things it will do that I will never use. I was used to the old one and it's default settings and the average picture size was from 650 to 800 MB depending on background & etc. The default in this one is from 1.2MB to 2MB, so I tried some lower resolutions until I found one that is almost identical to the old one. Another thing I had to get used to was when you set something different it stays where the other one went back to the default when you turned it off. This one has a reset button to set everything back to the default. Also the older one just had a 3 power zoom and I shake so bad that I have to use the tripod for the 10 power even with the anti shake feature on. After that 2 hour class next Friday I will be able to turn it on and off without reading the instructions. I hope!!!

Kristen,

Nice picture. They look good together. Where is the new one going to park? Does Pepe get jealous? If so he may accidentally leak some oil down on the bottom one. I like your lift and wish I had enough clearance to have one.

hey'littlecobra

Kristen,

Hi mate. First time that I have seen the Cobra on the lift/hoist. I have been considering one for the apartment in Geelong as Annes' BM would get under it with the Cobra on it - garage ceiling height is low.

The lift/hoist legs look low also. Is it on normal power or did you need to bring addition power onto your property.

Take care and have fun driving

Bernie
