First, I only said that was the best thread in a long time.
I never questioned the sanity of the topic or the events described there in.
It is SUNNY AND 75! I can't drive an inch. Got no tires.

A week ago you could not go for a ride because of the snow.
Day before yesterday you could not go for a ride because of the mud.
Yesterday you could not go for a ride because you have NO tires.
I got no snow, no mud and I do have tires. Rained last night and 40 °F outside now. Supposed to be sunny and 65 °F this afternoon. Just maybe I'll go for a ride. I should do some spring work around the yard ..... Naaaaaaaaaaa. Work is a 4 letter word to a retiree. I'd much rather play.
Tru - what brand/size tires did you order?

Rained here all day yesterday and is very cold this morning. We are supposed to have showers today again and then start warming up tomorrow. I have mowed all of my yards, but after this rain you could never tell it. I wish the weeds would retire and quit growing.
Tru,
When are you going to quit finding reasons why you can't drive your Cobra and actually drive it? Take the wheels and tires off your car and use them for a drive.

Kristen,
Nice to see you back for even a second. Rained here all day yesterday and supposed to shower today. I am looking forward to the pictures. Fred and Frenchy need help with his computer in case you never noticed so maybe you should help him since you are the closest. It will give you something to do while it is raining.

Fred,
No, I am hoping to hear something later today. They just can't seem to find what is causing those cramps and he can't go on much longer like this. I am afraid that I may have to have him put to sleep if something doesn't improve soon.

I got plenty of tires left. But I try to wear them out. It's difficult, but somebody has to do it. To make you feel better, I posted a couple of videos of todays ride.

Tru,
What are you replacing them with? And just for curiosity's sake, what size wheels are you running?

All around 15 inch rims.
The fronts are 225/60R15 BFG. But they are new and do not have build tire syndrom. The rears are 295/50R15 and they are BFG as well.
If you are setting up geometry, the build tire are good as you can molest the poop out of them.
It rained again and it is 48 outside. I appreciate the interest in getting on the road, but I would rather wait until I can enjoy the ride. I don't want to have to wipe mud from the car or ride on build tires.
Warren, stangly enough, play has four letters in it as well.

Gee Tru,
I thought that you were building a driver, not a trailer queen. A little mud won't hurt, but if it is deep then I would stay out of it too. Have Warren bring his down and try out the driveway first. If he sinks or something, then you will know to keep yours inside.

Sorry, they outlawed mud here in Taxxachusetts. It can now only be used by politicians for throwing purposes. Got me to thinking about a post last year. My comment at that time must have been wrong. The person in the ad MUST be Tru, not you Ron, and the "animal" out front is Wolfie, acting like a sled dog.

Maybe Tru needs to put sled runners on his Cobra and not tires and wheels. Then he would be set for snow or mud.

I wish I understood what some people are talking about.
I don't have a little mud. We are talking cars all brown and textured. We are talking deep holes filled with slippery mud. A lot of mud.

Kristen,
Thank you for whatever you are sending. Just make sure you keep Fred's frog away from it.
Tru,
I have lived on the muddy dirt roads and I know exactly what you are talking about. I though one of our old white cars was brown for almost a full winter. Ruts in the road and deep mud holes. The tractors were the only things you could drive through them and not worry about getting stuck.

Hey, Tru, warren, Fred, and all the others that are on the other site that Brent started.
He just activated one of the titles called Battle and you should go try it. It brings up two pictures at random and you select the one that you like best. And you can go to any of the categories, show cars, my car, & etc. Only thing I wish is it had a skip feature as a lot of times it will bring up two signs or something not really interesting to select one over the other. Kristen must have bribed Brent as she and her cars keep popping up all the time.
