Kristen,
Yes the pups are Frency and Sweetheart. He is 6 months old and she is just over 2 months. And I am back to getting up at 2 AM as they want to eat. Strange thing is I don't mind it as long as they are healthy. I can't believe how much better I feel just having them here to play with and talk to. I may even get out and see if I can start the car today. I just haven't had any time at all since two weeks ago and I also need to mow the lawns again. And it is beginning to gt warm. In the mid to upper 90s according to the forecast for the rest of the week.

Good for you Ron.
Thanks Mike! We survived.
HLC, isn't it getting closer to the end of school? You will be going to events until June.
Well, It is raining again today. My trees are going to be doing well, as long as it stops once-in-a-while.

Well I went out and fired up the Beast this morning and ran it for a few minutes. I am having so many doctors appointments the rest of this month that I don't know if I will have a day I can drive it or not. But so far I have pretty much gotten familiar with all of the gages and dash switches. Slow going I know, but I will drive it one of these days as soon as I have some free time.

Ron,
I was fooling around on the internet doing name searches and ran across this.
How is the new job going ???
This is an actual job application that a 65 year old senior citizen submitted to Walmart in CA.. They hired him because he was so funny...
NAME: Ron Widener
SEX: Not lately, but I am looking for the right woman (or at least one who will cooperate)
DESIRED POSITION: Company's President or Vice President. But seriously, whatever's available. If I was in a position to be picky, I wouldn't be applying here in the first place ?
DESIRED SALARY: $185,000 a year plus stock options and a Michael Ovitz style severance package. If that's not possible, make an offer and we can haggle.
EDUCATION: Yes.
LAST POSITION HELD: Target for middle management hostility.
PREVIOUS SALARY: A lot less than I'm worth.
MOST NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT: My incredible collection of stolen pens and post-it notes.
REASON FOR LEAVING: It sucked.
HOURS AVAILABLE TO WORK: Any.
PREFERRED HOURS: 1:30-3:30 p.m . Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL SKILLS?: Yes, but they're better suited to a more intimate environment.
MAY WE CONTACT YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER?: If I had one, would I be here?
DO YOU HAVE ANY PHYSICAL CONDITIONS THAT WOULD PROHIBIT YOU FROM LIFTING UP TO 50 lbs?: Of what?
DO YOU HAVE A CAR?: I think the more appropriate question here would be "Do you have a car that runs?"
HAVE YOU RECEIVED ANY SPECIAL AWARDS OR RECOGNITION?: I may already be a winner of the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes, so they tell me.
DO YOU SMOKE?: On the job - no! On my breaks - yes!
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE DOING IN FIVE YEARS?: Living in the Bahamas with a fabulously wealthy dumb sexy blonde supermodel who thinks I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Actually, I'd like to be doing that now
NEAREST RELATIVE : Ark.
DO YOU CERTIFY T HAT THE ABOVE IS TRUE AND COMPLETE TO THE BEST OF YOUR
KNOWLEDGE?: Oh yes, absolutely.

Fred,
Just a couple of mistakes. I don't smoke and never have. And the Sex question could have been answered not in the past several centuries. Otherwise I may copy it and send it in today.

When I was married 25 years, I took a look at my wife one day and
said,
"Honey, 25 years ago we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on
a
sofa
bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep
every night with a hot 25-year-old. Now we have a $500,000 home, a $45,000 car, a nice big bed and a plasma screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a
50-year-old woman. It seems to me that you are not holding up your side of
things."
My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a
hot 25-year-old, and she would make sure that I would once again be
living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed and
watching a 10-inch black and white TV.
Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve your mid-life
crises.

Yea, with those qualifications I should be given 90% ownership of WalMarts. Sure is slow here now that the Cobra Bash is going on. I have been having a time with the two new babies. But they are sure a lot of fun even though I have to get them house broken and I can never catch them when they are pooping or wetting on the carpet.

I think our rain is over for the year and we hardly had any at all. They already have the road through Lassen Park cleared of snow and they don't normally get that done until late June or mid July. Maybe after this month and all of my doctor appointments are over I can start driving some. I am worn out from continual trips to Redding and doctors the past few months. And my right shoulder is still hurting so bad I can't hardly lift my arm. Still just a pulled muscle and I am going to have to wait it out. I swear my healing has slowed down faster than I age.

Not unless you call Star Thistle and Burr Clover a garden. That crap covers this whole area and is impossible to get rid of. I swear if this area dis sink in the Ocean that stuff would still thrive.

David's got a nice little garden. Picked some squash, zucchini, cucumber and green onion yesterday. Red new potatoes already gone.
we'll have tons of tomatoes and jalapeno's etc soon.
He did corn last year. not very productive.
This is just a 'home' garden- not huge- but produces plenty for us and our friends.

Kristen,
Your idea of a Home Garden would be a commercial enterprise out here. Home Gardens are grown inside in window boxes.
