Finished up my leftover Chinese food for supper. The fortune cookie was "The sight of your beauty is worth beholding."

You may now bow down to my presence, and kiss the feet I walk on.

The fortune cookie prior to that one said "Get another fortune cookie". I think I mentioned that a few pages prior to this, and requested that Tru get a job as a fortune cookie writer. Pretty lame fortune.

The best fortune cookie I ever saw said "No fortune for you today".

Well, at least that one was probably correct. You never made a fortune that day did you ?

Default High School Reunion

My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept
staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table. My wife asked,"Do you know her ?".

"Yes",I sighed."She's my old girlfriend.I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago and I hear she hasn't been sober since."

"My Gosh !" said my wife."Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long ?"

My fortunes are always about my future and what will happen next, Heck, I'm too old to have some of those predictions to come true.

Kristen,

Shelby signed it for Tony when he was at a Shelby event. The guy with the crutches is Vaughn Cartwright. He is an amputee and has won a couple of World and several National Arm Wrestling Championships before he retired. He also ownes Shasta Dental Labs but has mostly turned that over to his son. The GT-40 is his as he is building it to show. He has a really nice black Cobra in the garage with silver stripes that he hasn't driven in probably 2 years. He normally doesn't use crutches but has an infection in the stump of his leg from where the prosthetic leg rubbed it, so they must have messed up the fit this last time as he has to go in every year to have it checked and fitted if anything has changed.

Ron, that is a nice looking coup.

Good you are out and about. I have alerted the "women under 50" association that you were out driving again and "looking"

Nice looking 40.

Bernie,

If anyone on here knows about burgers you should. Just ignore the $41 dollar ones in New York.

Fred,

Just one problem with the air conditioning. It is made for 6" vents and I just have 2" ones. I am trying to figure a way to disconnect the hoses and put a Y in them and then another vent, but there is no space that is easily accessible. I took it out again yesterday and am still getting used to the harder shifting transmission and a few other things. Acceleration is good as I almost missed getting into a space that was about 100 yards long between a couple of 18 wheelers. I haven't pushed it very hard and not on curves at all. Did go up to 115 for just a second and then realized the white CHP Cameo was in the area. A few more drives to get used to the shifting and handling and then I will be ready for other things.

Ron

Kristen,

If you sit real close to the pool when you see Shamu - you will get wet!
