Tru,
Did you break anything on your Cobra during your drive the other night? I hope not and if so hope it wasn't anything major.

I haven't looked yet, kind of scary. I was thinking...maybe tonight.
I need to start the season check over. I haven't done one yet.
It has been raining so much, I was thinking maybe I would build a boat.

Tru
I just went out and bought some pontoons for the Cobra. Been raining all day. Thunder and lightning storms too. Temp has finally got all the way up to 60 °F. Weather channel forecast is for 9 straight days with high temp betweeen 70 and 75 °F. I guess we can have springtime.
Need to throw my plants some life preservers!

Mallards love to snack on frogs! Keep Frenchy off the back porch!
The lightning storm that passed thru my area last night spawed a mini-tornado in a town 20 miles north of me. A zillion trees down - thankfully nobody seriously hurt.
P.S. - my veggie duck tastes a lot better ... and does not leave any tootsie rolls on the lawn.

Now I understand why Frenchy has been more nervous than a blind gay guy at a weenie roast all day.

Fred,
Your lawn is starting to look as tall as mine except you have grass and I have weeds. I think I am going to hire someone to mow this upper lot as my shoulder just hurts to much.

I asked Turtle to look into the future, and he composed a photo of Fred and Frenchy walking down their street in a few days. I heard that Tru was coming down with his shotgun for a vacation.

Warren,
Those are strange looking frogs. Have you taken Turtle in for a mental check lately?

They are my veggie pets. A lot cheaper than real one and you can eat them. Here are a couple of my orange buddies.

Not exactly the happiest looking oranges I have ever seen. Did you threaten to feed them to Frenchy?

Darn, Just finished mowing that upper driveway and got to sick to even start the upper lot. I think if my neighbor is home after while I will see if he meant it when he told me he would mow it for me with his new riding mower. I have had four heat strokes, one that hospitalized me for a week and I just can't take to many chances now. Two cold showers and I am still light headed and dizzy.
I should be out going over the cars with wet paint, but I am to tired and the garage is quite warm even with the big door open. And with the wind we have opening it just lets leaves and dust blow in by the piles.

Hey, glad to see everyone is still the same as always. We have had nice weather here until a couple days ago with some storms.
We finally closed on our old house and made an offer on a new one here in Wisconsin (they accepted) so we get our own place again.
Any recommendations on a brand of riding mower? I need one with a blade or a snowblower for the winter.
We picked up the 911 from Nebraska and it is at my sister's until we get moved in. Then I will have a place to finish it. It will be nice having a garage to fit everything.
Ron, nice looking car. I don't feel so bad about you selling your Cobra.

wow.... about 4 pages since I was gone....
got back home this afternoon and promptly took a nap.
have 33 emails. that's a lot, for me.
wading thru it all.
Our front yard needs to be baled!!
D didn't mow it before we left and now it's even worse! I think D and the boys and adopted boy neighbor are to start on it in the morning. lucky them!
I'll deal with all the mess Sparkle made while we were gone. She has sufficiently destroyed the den sofa, but oh well. She absolutely took out a chunk of fabric, foam, and stuffing.
bad dog!!! about 12" square.
am getting excited about Tulsa, in 10 days or so.
Am going to do the road course for 2 days, and not do the dragstrip at all.
Love the road course!
Sea World was nice. Glad that #4 could enjoy it, and hopefully remember it. The last two times we went she saw it from the stroller, frequently napping, and I was adamant this trip was for her. Probably our 'last' Sea World trip for a long time. Cannot remember how many times we've been! would have to go look at scrapbooks.
We spent two days at Mason, our 'deer' place in central texas. The wildflowers were beautiful! wow! we've never seen them like that. Blackeyed Susans galore, and all kinds of beautiful scenery. Watched a huge storm roll in, and we just stayed inside and played "Clue" and Yahtzee.
fun to play games with the family.
gotta go.
i'll be back later.
oh, Flip, yeah, we got VERY wet sitting up close to Shamu! that's the fun of it!!!!
