Tru,

Glad to see you out with the Cobra. Did you enter the show or just go to look? The car is looking really good.

The car was in the show just before London.

Editing, editing, editing.

Need a publisher for the trilogy.

Hey I just had a thought.

"Once I had a Good Life, then "W" became President"

What an idiot. I really shouldn't complain I voted for the clown.GRR
I am sure God will punish me for that in time.

What a glorious day for a ride.

Way out in the wood, I found a place where people are dying to get into because of the ocean views.

But I'm sure there are many people that woulds "die" for a place like this. They are currently working on some walls in the front yard. If you take a look at the house from the side, it has to be at least 75 foot deep.

This rock is about 200 feet from the house above.

Anybody want to buy an island in the reservoir?

Warren,

Great pictures as usual. You really have some beautiful country back there and I wish that I could visit it and see many of those places. You have more historical places back East than we do here. About the biggest historical things we have are the Gold rush ghost towns and mines. I would love to spend a few ,days on the battlefields of the Civil War, and even in Washington D.C. to see some of the monuments and museums. But I guess I am stuck with hundreds of thousands of miles of mountains, canyons, and desert. But they do have their wonders, especially when you go up to Lassen Park and get back into the forests away from everyone.

Tru,

I mowed the lawn last week and all I have are some weeds and dust. I almost choked on the dust. And yes, I got all 9 of my hairs cut too.

Kristen,

I hope that everything came out ok and there was no major problems. Weather is freaky all over. A fire here almost burned some homes in Redding yesterday, but they got it stopped just short of them. It did singe one homes sides.

Many will recall that on July 8, 1947, witnesses claimed that an
unidentified object with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and
cattle ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico. This is a well-known incident
that many say has long been covered up by the U.S. Air Force and the
federal government.

However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of March 1948,
nine months after that historic day, the following people were born:

Albert Arnold Gore Jr., Hillary Rodham, John F. Kerry, William Jefferson
Clinton, Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Charles E. Schumer, Barbara Boxer...

See what happens when aliens breed with sheep? This piece of
information may clear up a lot of things.

Hope everything is OK in Texas. Wierd weather even here in Massachusetts. There is a round fire ball in the sky with puffy white cotton balls on a blue background. I investigated a couple of neighboring towns this AM, but I think I'll have to visit some other towns this afternoon.

Lunch was good, including the two hour nap. I just woke up. Terrible weather! I'm going to give it a piece of my mind, and I do not have that much to spare!

Warren,

From what I just read in the headlines, I think Texas must have sent some of their rain to Kansas. It isn't bad here today. Around 92 or 93 and a light but warm breeze blowing.

well the sky is blue and it is raining. guess those clouds are somewhere up there.
big big thunderhead type clouds, rolling around.
it hadn't rained all day at my house til just about 20 minutes ago. then another flood.

the garden is getting too much rain, and the roses are waterlogged.
supposed to be in a parade wednesday.

Yea here as well Kristen. It rained off and on all day. I think I heard that the lakes were up as much as sixteen feet high right now. Going from them being eight feet low, that is a lot of rainfall.

Just got back from another ride. It got all the way up to about 75°F today. Bright sunshine too.

Just went to Wal-Mart and got $20 worth of penny candy. A lot of the floats and cars throw candy to the kids. Some of the kids probably collect more candy at the parade as compared to Halloween .... Its a lot of fun throwing the candy to the kids and also trying to tempt the nice looking babes into going for a ride! Oink Oink

We might get some showers late Wednesday, but not early enough to affect our parade.
