I back up the computer every so often. Guess I should do it today. My last back-up was probably 6 months ago. I use a DVD drive and just "copy" My Documents and other stuff (favorites, e-mail, etc) I'm always afraid that some RESTORE function in a cheap backup program will screw up after a bad crash.
Fred - I don't use Poli-Grip. Sorry to deflate your low opinion of me .... But I have spent an ungodly amount of $$$ over the last five years or so on my teeth. Every tooth is either a crown, an implant or a bridge. Both of my parents had false teeth when they were in their 50's. Sometimes you get the bad with the good from your parents. Hope you are still on the anti-butt wagon. Is Frenchy still looking hot?
P.S. - I do not use Prep H either, although some people will swear I do ....

Warren,
Why don't you get an external hard drive that uses a USB plug in and just back up everything including the operating system? That way after a bad crash, you can just format the drive and copy everything back which will include the past 4 years of Windows Updates.

4.87 seconds at about 300 MPH for a homebuilt Aussie motor is fantastic. Over here in the states, they cover the 1/4 mile in about 4.5 seconds at 330 MPH. But who knows how good the track is in Perth.

If I had a bad crash with my 4 year old computer, I'd want to load it all again. Either that or get a new one and donate this one to a school. There have been so many programs added and deleted, I'm sure its speed is slower due to crap. I also have a few bugs that pop up every so often. I can remember backing up to floppy disks!

Nice and smooth. I cannot imagine the G's on a pull like that. I guess it would be similar to the Yugo's of old .. NOT!

Here a a couple of pics I took yesterday. A little overcast, but still a nice place. I found another place in Hingham, not far from where I took yesterday's pictures.

I know I should have stayed home. Damn seagulls are really rats with wings. Temp got down to 58°F with about a 30 MPH wind. Definitely not worth it!

I would have gladly traded my Nikon for a shotgun, even though the fine for killing one of those flying rats is $150.00.

Warren,
That is the first time I have ever seen a picture of your car when it was dirty. Had to bribe the Mt. Shasta Goddess to talk to those sea gulls.

Gud morn ya'll.
I was thinking about going to a local car show today, but it's only 41°F outside at 7AM. Forecast is that it will get all the way up to 58°F by noontime. They used to give out cool trophies (won first place last year), but they changed and no longer have class trophies. They pay out some $$ for the top three cars.
Think I'll forget that show this year. Guess I'll watch the NASCAR race, and the Red Sox/Yankees game and the Patriots game today.
Maybe I'll take the room A/C out of my bedroom window!
Decisions, decisions .... shall I have cereal and fresh native blueberries or an omelet for breakfast?

Warren,
No need to watch the game. Yanks will win by 7. Patriots will lose also. AS for the NASCAR race, that is just a joke any more and I don't pay much attention to them.
Your weather is cooling off like ours is. But at least you have a car that you can enter into shows. I think about all of the car shows in our area are over for the year. Both cars have left.

The only thing I've started since April is the Cobra.
Work is a four letter word.

After the NASCAR race, I went food shopping. There was a clear sky but the temp was below 60°F. After putting away the groceries, I could hear the SPF speaking to me in the garage ... "Please take me for a short ride!"
I had to go. Wool cap, gloves, heavy jacket and Vroooom.
Edited because I deleted many pics from my gallery.
Changed the settings on the camera and took another picture 30 seconds after the photo above.
Guess I need some help on sunset shots. Red Sox lost but the Pats creamed San Diego. Good night!

Warren,
Nice pictures. I would have to read how to use the thing but my camera has a setting for that kind of shot that really makes them great. First it takes whatever is in the foreground, in the case of when I went to the class it was the guy teaching it and all you could see was him and a lot of darkness in the background. Then he set the camera and it looked like a postcard. He was very clear and San Francisco was all light up and as clear as could be in the background. Something about taking the close picture and then a second or so later the background. To many menus in this camera for me to remember more than how to turn it on and off unless I have the 92 pages of instructions with me.
