Hmmmmmmm
The calandar "box" that shows up on the left hand edge is correct. But if you use the Calendar selection next to the For Sale link on the top portion of the page ... it is not correct. I just noticed it only show 2006. I guess that calendar "was" used for posting other stuff maybe????? I have trouble remembering what day it is.

Hey, I've been busy today. Had breakfast, answered some posts on CC, read 1/2 of this morning's newspaper, had a one hour nap and watched some TV. It's almost lunch time. I'm pooped ... tough day. Guess I'll have to go for a ride to get my blood pumping.

I think the cops should keep track of that student and zap him a few times a day just for being such a wimp.

If he was listening to Kerry and believed any of what he said, then just Tazering him isn't going to even make him notice.
Warren, I am sure happy that your state has such great people. Ted, Kerry, and some others that could compete with the best we have here for the bottom of the gene pool.

Tru,
Good for you. You need to go for more rides. I think you must be about 786 behind Warren by now. If I ever get another car, which is very doubtful, I am going to drive the devil out of it and not worry about rock picks and chips or how shiny it is. I may have to borrow money to make a trip to Arkansas so I can drive my old Cobra again. Boy, I never realized how much I liked that car.

Warren,
I'd like to get your honest straight opinion on a school in Boston.
Northeastern U.
My son has been up there since tuesday night. He says he has been keeping a sharp lookout out for 5' 18" Turtle loving looking guy in a Cobra.

Northeastern University really sucks it big time!
I graduated from Northeastern, so any school that would give me a BS degree must be a really bad school.
OK, enough funnin around. Honest straight opinion - Northeastern is a great school because they get you out working while you are getting your degree. This $$ helps pay for school, and it really helps when you graduate. Many part time jobs during the school year instantly turn into full time jobs. Or when you go looking for a job after graduation, you have a degree and some work experience ... which puts you in a better position to get a good job upon graduation.

Tru went for a ride? What next. Maybe he will post some pictures?
Well I went for a ride yesterday. Sunny and 80°F. What a gorgeous day. I took a ride thru the Blue Hills looking for places I have not explored. I pulled into a long driveway ... and found out it was a co-op garden and they sell fresh veggies there. Great, another veggie stand I can buy some veggies that I do not grow.
The grounds are really nice with a brook, a big house, and 3 barns on the property. The garden (small farm) is about 600 feet long by 200 feet wide. I'd hate to hand weed that garden.
I talked with the guy that runs the co-op. Nice guy and his neighbor just finished building a Cobra!
Then I just drove around for another hour and I found a nice lake with a boat ramp. I'll have to go exploring the side roads later to see if there are any really nice spots for taking more pics.
Gee, its 3PM, sunny outside and the temp is 73°F. What shall I do now? Hmmmmmmmm

Warren,
Good info and warning.
I told Josh that you went to Northeastern.Worked hard in school and during your career.
That you are now retired and have a Turtle that lurks in your front flower bed.
Josh: "And you went to the University of Texas and have Frenchy sitting in your den.
I think I need to do a lot more research on colleges."

Swim? Uh nah. But it was warm enough for a 2 hour ride. Not as nice as yesterday, but very acceptable weather. As I came home, you could feel the temp drop from about 75°F (inland) to about 62°F by the ocean. You could see the fog coming in the distance. But the fog was only about 50 stories high. Check out the Boston skyline in the distance.
Edited because I deleted many pics from my gallery.
Fred - really ... Northeastern is a great school. I got my BS in Mechanical Engineering at the night school, after getting an Assoc Degree at Wentworth (a school 1/2 mile from Northeastern). The company I was working for paid 85% of all costs as long as you got a B grade. I think Josh would like it there. Of course, any school far away from Frenchy is probably OK by Josh.

I went to Baylor U., Eastfield JC, and North Texas. I have no turtles, frogs or any other odd amphibians in my possession. Well there are a few gecko's running around the garage. But... i got out in 4 years, found a man, and here i sit, with a garage full of toys.
Tell him to stay local.
