Ron,
Sounds like you are having way too much fun with the '69. Good luck
with the fixes!

Well I may find out today if that cleared the 5500 RPM limiter as I am thinking about driving it again. Got to watch those old tires as they are the ones that came on it in February 1969. Still look good and no cracks as I have treated them over the years, but they are old and I don't trust them at very high speeds, and certainly not for any period of time.
On the other hand I may go back to bed and see if I can recover from a severe nerve attack last night that has left me weak and hardly able to move without staggering. I just feel so tired that I can't hardly move.
And tomorrow my best friend goes in for prostate surgery as they found some cancer in his. So I am trying to help him and his wife as much as I can as she is worried and he is scared to death as he has never been sick in his life more than just a cold of the flu. I tried to cheer him up by telling him that almost 5% of the people that have that surgery actually survive.

Ron,
How did your friend with the prostate cancer do with his surgery? Hope all went well. I went the radiation seed route 3 years ago and just had my
anniversery check up. psa was .08 - good news for me.

Flip,
Congratulations on your doing so well. Jack has his surgery this morning and having never been in a hospital or sick in his whole life he is scared. I keep telling him that at least one out of five survive the surgery and he just won't listen.
They will keep him in there over the weekend and if everything goes well he can come home Monday but he is going to have a 4 to 9 week recovery period according to the doctor. I am sure he will drive Mary crazy as he is not used to laying around and taking it easy.

Good morning ya'll. Got up to 90°F yesterday. It was hot. Finally got my computer working correctly without having to re-install Windows and all other software. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Bill Gates!

Warren,
You got lucky with the computer. Now if you could just do the same with Frenchy.
It is 43 here this morning. Our coldest morning so far. Supposed to be in the low 80s this afternoon, but wouldn't bet on that.

I understand this weekend is going to be in the 80s.
I suppose I'll be doing something my wife would like to get done.

Ron,
The word around the pond is that Warren did get lucky.
There is also a rumor the he stiffed her for the 2-bits,(pun intended).

Warren,
Very nice. And Frenchy looks a lot better than I expected. No wonder Fred is thinking of putting a fence around her pond.

Flip,I believe you're a sky diver.
My 18 year old niece just got certified.
She really loves it.

I took up sky diving for a season and gave it up.
Too expensive and too risky, but then again, I was 21 at the time.

Skydiving risky - nah. I started 38 years ago (while in the Army)
and, weather permitting, should pass the 12,000 jump mark this weekend.
Then I think I'll ease off a bit.

12,000 jumps! The only thing I've done 12,000 times is eating a meal.
