Tru,

Well that is nicer than it is here. A very few sprinkles earlier and just overcast and cold now. Sun is actually out but you can't feel any heat from it. Must be busy doing it's Global Warming somewhere else right now.

Got up to 60 F this afternoon, but it was still too wet for golf. Just got some more sunset pics from the other side of the island. Time for supper.

The sun was out, but as soon as it set, there was a thick fog that developed in the dense forested areas ... but not on the roads. The temp dropped so fast, all the water evaporating from the ground showed up as a low lying fog, only about 10 feet off the ground and crystal clear above 10 feet. You know what I mean .... just like the fog on the movie "Merrill's Marauders".

need to get Pepe back out.... maybe thursday. it is cool here in the mornings, downright hot in the afternoons, with big winds then nothing. very inconsistent.

Jenny. thanks for posting the pic. too small, though!! make it bigger???

Took a ride down to Katama Beach for the sunset. Not enough clouds to make a spectacular sunset, but it was still pretty. About 5 other people came down to the beach. Standing on the beach taking many pics and I noticed my feet were cold all of a sudden. A big wave came in and swamped my size 14's.

Edited because I deleted many pics from my gallery.

Hey Tru .... found a picture for you. It was about 60 F today .... But the ice skating rink was busy.

Edited because I deleted many pics from my gallery.

Kristen - found a great vacation house, but I think you might be too tall for this one! I have no idea what its used for .... It might be the back of a ritzy dog house.

Edited because I deleted many pics from my gallery.

Ron - your boat finally came in.....

Edited because I deleted many pics from my gallery.

Fox News had a quick run down on The 50 Greatest TV Icons.

#21 was a Frog

No Turtles mentioned.

Turtles have always turned down awards ... they do not want to join the Actor's Guild union. Plus, by the time they made it up to the stage, the awards show would be over.

Of course, the Humpin' Ho Sisters would sell their soul (or anything else) for some coin.

Anyway, that frog in #21 was probably green, not blue or wooden. And I bet there was someone's hand up the frogs a$$ to make it do anything. Everyone knows that frogs are lazy bums.

Sunny and 55 F outside. Wish I had my Cobra with me. Going home tomorrow. Hope Tru and the Mt Shasta Goddess don't send any white stuff my way. I need a Cobra fix!!!!!!!!

Warren,

You have had quite a vacation. Now you can go home and freeze. Weather here has warmed up some today and really isn't to bad. They are still saying rain, but each day they push it out to the next day. Soon they will have it pushed all the way to you and Tru.

Top to a well pump, Warren. I made a few of those in my time.

In michigan, even if the well is covered, we had to put a 300W light bulb in the cavity to keep the water from freezing.

Good looking one though.

Tru,
You said a week or two ago that you had already burnt 1/2 line of wood.
Is a line a cord of wood ??

Good evening folks. It was sunny and 66°F when I left the island, but it was RAINING when I got home.

No Cobra ride for me. Boo Hoo

Supposed to rain tomorrow too!

Guess I'll spend tomorrow opening 3 weeks of mail and paying bills.

.... a well pump, huh. Classy looking one at that.

Warren,

Welcome home and to the rain and snow that you will be receiving for the next few months. Glads that you have a great vacation. I guess Turtle was happy to see you wasn't he.

Thanks Ron

Vacation was nice. I need another shorter vacation to recover.

But the weather here at home bites! It's 37°F at 8AM and still raining. At least its not snow. Oh well, its not like Georgia ... the new dustbowl.

I have to work on the yard. All my annual flowers and veggies are dead.

Time to go food shopping. Cleaned out the fridge before I left and its EMPTY. I need food. Hungry and no food for breakfast. Woe is me.

Warren,

I have it on good word that a huge Winter Blizzard is coming your way. Better really stock up on food. And bring Turtle in the house. I don't think he would like being under 10' of snow.

Turtle is glad to see anyone come in the driveway. But since he is 4 feet off the ground, he just wiggles his little legs but gets nowhere fast. But at least he does not get down on his hands and knees like the Humpin' Ho Sisters.

No wonder he is smiling. He's probably thinking "Do I have time for

Warren, I am glad your hunting was successful.

Total today, we got two deer, an 8 point and a 6 point. Looks like we will be eating meat for a while.

Any other hunters??
