The Mt. Shasta Goddess is a

WIMP

I dare her to try and dump some snow on me! She is going to leave it all in Wisconsin and Michigan.

At least I hope so!

No snow yet, just ice. Lots and lots of ice. Emily was complaining when we were out because it felt like little rocks hitting her and it was stinging. Poor baby didn't know what was going on. It is her first ice storm. She keeps trying to talk everyone into skipping winter this year. Keeps asking "Wouldn't it be nice if it were spring?" The funny thing is, she loves snow. Likes to go sledding. She just has to watch out for the dog. She likes to run along side the sled and suddenly leap on you. She ends up knocking Emily out of the sled when she does.

hi, Jenny! Glad to have you jump on.

well.... just got home from Waco.
DC 48, Houston C, 28! we won!! wow!!
State finals next Saturday. yea!!!
both boys played quite a bit, but especially Peter, the Junior.
Graham is a freshman, and the only freshman playing. (two others are suiting out)
He played a pretty good bit, the last 5 minutes. Kick off return team and linebacker??
Peter is on kickoff return, offense and defense, and also did a little linebacker??
The boys were side by side on defense in what i call the middle of the backfield. Not way back, but behind the line.... I don't know!!!

going to bed!
k

ps. you 'two' that offered to share your photo gallery space... thank you! I probably will take you up on it for a pic or two. Maybe tomorrow???

Kristen,

Congratulations on the football game and best of luck in the state finals. I am glad that both of the boys got to play. It will be something they will remember for the rest of their lives.
What kind of cameras did you buy and how do you like them? Just e-mail me any pictures that you want posted and be sure to name them as I don't know your boys or girls and would get them mixed up for sure.
Have a great day.

Ron

Jenny,

From the forecast that I saw, you have some really rough weather coming. Emily will get used to the sleet and it does sting when it is coming down hard. Tell Brent to buy the dog a sled of his own.

Good morning world.

Congrats to the kids, Kristen. Linebacker is correct for what you described.

Brrrrrrrrrrrr. It's 17°F outside. Time to hunker down and watch some football games on TV.

Congrats Kristen.

The snow wasn't even close to what was predicted.

Warren, you may slide out of this one, but it looks to be at your door step.

Congratulations Kristen.

University of Hawaii pulled it off tonight and beat Washington - now
off to a bowl game. Only undefeated team this year. Thought it was all
over in the beginning but miracles happen! Great game right to the end.

well this all sucks!
resized a photo, but of course i resized it to go in the gallery (won't, too full) and need to resize again to attach as an attachment. I hate all this!!

anyway.... i guess i'll go to snapfish or something. I already have an account at snapfish, i think.

thanks, Fred, everybody. I am very excited and happy for the boys.
cool!

Fred,

Nice comment about Kristen's attached picture.

Kristen,

The re-sizer tool is much easier and faster than using a photo program if you don't have Vista in your computer. I don't think it will work in Vista. I never use my photo program any more except to make the pictures better and maybe to move something from one picture to another. Anything I re-size using it seems to always be a pain the the neck to get it to look good.

Edit: Take a look at the picture that I attached in post # 5529. I downloaded it from the net and it was several hundred kb and in bmt format. I just changed it to jpg which automatically downsized it quite a bit and then used the image re-sizer to get it under the 39kb limit for attachments.

I think you're on to something here Kristen. You found the answer to not deleting your photos.

Resize them to what you're thumbnail is and there will be plenty of room.

Hey
I finally got my Gallery down to less than 100 meg and I can now add some pics. But I'm going to create some albums so I (and others) can find pics easily. It was tough with 850 pics!

Resized quite a few pics using the resizer tool. Maybe I'll get there someday.

Just went shopping for some onions and cabbage. Corned beef dinner tonight! My favorite ... Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
