Great shot Fred.
Well, I am alive. I started a diet a week ago and have lost 13 pounds so far.
I swear we have the strangest weather. It is supposed to be 57 on monday and raining. It will probably snow right after.
Warren, you are posting new threads all over. Even Joe has been taken in. Must be that video on your ride.
Well, kids it is late and I'm tired. I'll see you all later.
Steve, there is a history of giving the finger, would you like me to help you understand that thread???

13 pounds in one week? Wow - did you lose your head?
Guess I'll really have to go back on my diet.

Tru,
Congratulations on the weight loss. Now if you would just lose about 80 pounds for me.
A cold, damp morning and I feel as if I am going to have to go back to bed for the day. Boy, am I ever depressed and sick. Fell and cracked a bone in my left elbow and that is bothering me some too. Fortunately I am old enough that I don't have to worry about stuff like that any more.

I was at 218. I am heading to 190. It will taper off as I get closer to the 190. May take days to get there, but it is painless and seems to be working. 204 this morning.
Dang, it is 22 outside and everything is frozen again. I'm moving to Texas or something.

It is 43 here this morning with a cold, fairly hard wind blowing. If the wind will quit it will be a nice day. I need to mow but can't with this wind blowing as my sinuses already have my eyes hurting and I am sneezing. Time to call the police and have them write my neighbor a ticket for pollen pollution.

Fred,
I was trying to get a tarp that I have over an old shed which leaks back in place after this hard wind blew the edge of it back. There was one small wet spot about 6" across and of course I never saw it and stepped on it. My feet went straight out and I thought I was going to go through that old roof. The fence post was one of about 6 that I have laying on the tarp to keep it down in the wind.
That is a nice picture. At least they let you ride across without a special pass. You can no longer drive across Shasta Dam unless you have been cleared and have a special pass and you don't dare stop.

What a lucky guess on the Roof Surfin'.
Sounds like you are getting better at it.
Last time you came sliding OFF the roof of the house ,barely missing a pole and wiping out some of your Thistle crop.
No problem driving across that dam.If the law had caught me parking and walking around up there,I'm sure it wouldn't have been very good.
I have uploaded a bunch of pictures from the ride in my gallery.
It was a wonderful time.
Put 1,175 miles on the bike.It never missed a beat !

Fred,
The pictures are great. As for the roof surfing, you know the old saying, practice makes perfect. I either have to stay off the roof or learn to fall properly.

A friend of mine put a second story on his house a couple of years ago. While he was doing the roof (3 tab shingles), he slipped and fell to the ground. No safety harness. Amazingly, he did not break anything.
Later on that afternoon, he fell off the roof again ... broke his arm and one leg.
Ron - stay off the roof. Hope you feel better ... and I hope Frenchy is feeling better too.

Warren,
I DID NOT fall on Frenchy. Her prices are bad enough the way it is. Besides the only Frog Hospital around here is in Berkley where the rest of the nut cases are.

Warren,
The last I heard he was off the IVs and eating and they were waiting for the lab results on the last blood tests. Ken is home now and I will talk to him tomorrow. He called last night and said he stopped by the hospital on his way home and Frenchy seemed to be doing really well and if nothing shows up on the blood tests I may be able to bring him home tomorrow some time. I hope everything is well and I can bring him home as Sweetheart is just moping around and doesn't know what to do.

Fred,
I am surprised you are on your bike instead if being in Austin for the TCC event this weekend.

Steve,
I just have to figure a way to always hit on my head when I fall. That way I can't possibly injure anything.
