Garden?

My early blooming bulbs just flowered a couple of days ago.

Mike, all you need is a good cat to take care of the birds.

Warren,

I have tried hiring a kid to cut the upper lot twice. Both times they made a couple of trips around it and then came in to collect. I then called a handy man who does nothing but landscaping and lawn care. What a farce. He spent an hour doing nothing but griping about how people expected him to mow their lawns the same way they would mow them. I looked at all the places he skipped and gave him a local lawyers number and told him to call him because I wasn't going to pay for that mess. Never heard from him again. I called the Fire Department to see if they had a list of kids who had applied for Summer work like they used to and they have quit that as none of the kids will do anything when they send them out and they were tired of he people who hired them calling them and raising He**. He said most of the people refuse to pay so they went to several places and he wouldn't have paid either. They would cut one or two strips of grass and then demand their payment as they were through.

Dear sir/ma,
Please permit me to write you irrespective of the fact we have not met

been
my best choice but I have a deadline to meet and taking any of those
choices would cost me time and a whole lot of other requirements, which
I
am not ready to deal with. That is where i need your assistant
and service.

WHAT I NEED YOU FOR?
You will be working as my payment assistant in charge of collecting and
processing the payments from the Associates.

JOB DESCRIPTION?
1. Receive payment (inform of money orders/checks) from My
Clients/Associates.
2. Cash the Payments at your Bank
3. Deduct 10%, which will be your percentage/pay on Payment processed.
4. You will then forward the balance via Money Gram or Western Union
Money
Transfer according to my instruction.

ADVANTAGES?
You don't have to go out of your present daily activity in order to
engage
in this Job(i.e. you can do this Work easily without leaving or
affecting
your present Job). You will work as an independent contractor right from
your home /office. Your job is absolutely legal. You do not need any
capital to start(non of your personal funds is needed).

REQUIREMENTS?
18 years or older.
Legally capable.
Responsible, Reliable and Trustworthy
Ready to work 3-4 hours per week.

doing this work is safe and legitimate. Guess all
is well understood,I would be glad if you accept my proposal.

Joe,

I don't remember many others that start like his. Dear Sir/MA. Otherwise sounds as if you have hit the jackpot. With all that money you should be able to retire and buy an island.

Ok now a question. I just received a Power Point file that is really interesting. They found an old Kodak Brownie camera with film from 1941 and developed it and it is pictures of Pearl Harbor during the attack. I had one of those old cameras when I was a kid and they take great pictures. The problem is I can't find any hosting place that will accept the .pps files.
, probably because they tend to be to large. Does anyone know of any way or place that you can post these and then link to them so people can see them?

Edited To Add: I can send them via e-mail as attachments as that is how I get them. If any of you would like to see these pictures I would be happy to send them to you. I collect these type files and some are really great.

Ron, don't forget to get the fee from Joe.

Ah yes, two down and one more to go. I am playing plummer today. Got two faucets changed, got one more to replace.

If this weather keep up, I might be able to do some driving around in the cobra.

Tru,

Don't forget to pay yourself the going plummers rates. I liked the joke I saw about the lawyer and plummer. The lawyer had some work done and got the bill and was really upset. He said I am a lawyer and I don't make this much. Plummers answer was, Yes I know, that is why I quit being a lawyer.

Tomorrow = 68°F and sunny

Time to help the Middle East and burn some petrol.

I need a plumber. My garbage disposer just died. I probably should do it myself, but the back of my brain says "Do you know what you're doing???"

Fred,

If you are going to insist on hauling her around, maybe you should consider one of the very wide wheels with wide tires like they use on the drag bikes. You know, spread the weight around a little more. I would still like to know what happens if you run over a bump with her on there at any speed.

Nothing like getting woken up at just before 4 AM by the sheriffs department calling telling everyone that there are tornado warnings and to take cover. Big Thunder storm just rolled through with a lot of rotation in the clouds. Several funnel clouds spotted. The heavy part has passed but we are still in a watch.

Darn Joe,

I hope that it all passed by with no damage. The weather this year is really acting strange. Of course everyone knows that is because of all the satellites we have orbiting the Earth. You wouldn't believe the people
that I run into around here who swear that is the reason for everything.

Here, listen to this while waiting out the storm. The gut is really good.

I haven't gone out and checked for damage yet, but half the leaves were stripped from my trees. News is showing trees uprooted, trucks blown over, downed power lines, etc... Possible tornatic activity not far from where I live, 1 bank is completely destroyed, police are onsite,so there goes the idea of a free "Loan".

Yea, without question. Talking to some at work, I got really lucky. No damage, but some lost fences, 35 year old trees uprooted. Downed power lines, roofs ripped off, etc...

Ron,
For some reason, I cannot connect to the FTP server I use. I will keep trying, but I can't seem to get the file you sent uploaded.
