Tru,
There is no telling where all Fred may go. I think he plans a trip into Oklahoma soon.

I think that they are tired of Warren not replying to these offers of free money. I have another opportunity.

Good Morning. Time for a shower and a dentist appointment. Get out the 60 grit paper for my teeth cleaning. After that, I think I'll go run the route of the Boston Marathon. I do believe that the Cobra can make it, but I'm not so sure that I can make it without at least one nap break.
Joe, I got this yesterday .....

Next month for my dental appointment and cleaning. And I am sure they will find at least one old filing that has to be replaced. I think that I am just going to tell her that when she gets $22 dollars worth of my teeth cleaned to stop there. That will lessen the chance of them finding something else to cost me a few hundred.
Warren,
I would be happy to clean your teeth with my dremel. I bet I could do it in half the time the hygienist does.

Well the dogs are at the vets for the next two days. I have been to the range to shoot and talked to a friend of mine that used to be head of the Homicide division in Los Angles. He was giving a class to the bunch that guards the dam. Then on the way home it started sprinkling and is supposed to turn into steady rain the rest of the day. I really feel lost without the dogs around. I actually did my laundry and some other things that I normally put off.

All this talk about guns.
Tru - do not go hunting in Belle Plaine, Minn. A man accidentally shot and killed his 9 yr old son as they were hunting for turkeys in the woods. The 12-gauge shotgun blast hit the kid directly in the chest. The article says "the father apparently mistook his son for a wild turkey." Duhhhhhhhhhhhh!
First of all, would you take a 9 yr old hunting and NOT have him tied to your leg?
How many beers does it take to make a 9 yr old kid look like a turkey from head-on? A 6 pak? More?

New garbage disposer in the kitchen. Only $395. Ugh. $120 for teeth cleaning. Double Ugh. But a 3 hour Cobra ride to nowhere this afternoon made my wallet feel a lot better. News at 11, pics later.

So, Warren, that last one was priceless!
I will not hunt in Minn. unless invited. It would need to be a hunt that was for game that I would be interested in hunting.

Warren,
That isn't a bad price for a new garbage disposal. The last quote that I had here and that was a few years back was just over $400 dollars. But since we are so far in the boonies, everything up here seems to be higher as they don't stock anything and the shipping from china is expensive.

Been pretty warm here too. I had to turn the AC on last night as it was too hot to sleep and there was no breeze blowing.
This weather is perfect for rides, and perfect for donations to the Buy Joe a Cobra fund.

Well our 80 degree weather is now in the 50s and raining off and on the past two days. However the forecast is for warming up Friday. Darn, I am to old to adjust to all of the big overnight temperature swings.
Warren,
Since you make Joe feel bad, I think you should buy him a Cobra with some of that money you are always getting e-mails to claim.

Tomorrow supposed to be 70°F and sunny. Guess I'll have to go thru the drudgery of another Cobra ride.

Supposed to be back into the 70s here today. This evening I will spend at the range doing my safety and qualifying for my CCP renewal. No Cobra rides as I don't have one. As soon as Ernie decides where he is going to retire to, maybe he will loan me his. Yea, Right!!

Like the new avatar Warren. That one is pretty cool. It was around 90 here yesterday, and last night we had a thunderstorm. Nothing major, but I did hear the longest sustained thunder I have ever heard last night. It went on for over 1 minute. Just a continuous rumble that would get louder and shake the windows, soften, louder again, etc... I asked my wife 3 times, "Damn, is it ever going to stop?" Never heard one last that long before.

Just got a call from Fred and we talked for an hour. He said to tell Warren to take it easy on Biker Babe. He is in the Davis Mountains right now and is going to take the Humpin Ho sisters to a family reunion with the Twisted Sisters. In fact he is thinking of buying one of the T-Shirts that says, I rode the Twisted Sisters. He is really enjoying himself and said the other day he met a huge amount of people on motorcycles all riding in the mountains.
