Darn Warren,
If you are finished with your chores for the day you must have really rushed your 4 naps and 5 meals.
I did go out and finish the last of the weed eating that I needed to do so that is all done for at least three or four days now. And I see in the paper that they are calling for water conservation. The snow pack is now well below normal and they won't have enough water for everything. I saw they are going to cut the water to the farmers by 1/3rd. Stupid, Stupid. Let those dam fish die, the food prices are already out of sight.

Sorry to hear that you are still having water problems Ron. We had more rain today than I thought we would. Rained pretty good for an hour, and it looks like it may start again at any time.

Joe,
This was our first
Winter in 5 years that we got any rain or snow and it was just a little above average. Now the latest reports are that we may be in for another 5 years of no rain or very little of it and snow. Oh well, we will have the largest dam in the world to hold back 12 buckets of water. Also fire season has already started and we have had 3 small ones already.

If a car's engine is putting out 370 HP and it is completely out of tune, what would be the output if the engine is in tune?
SBF.

371 HP or greater. Dumb question ... dumb answer That is only if the SBF can carry a "tune". If it cannot sing worth a damn, give it to the Humpin Ho Sisters. They could probably squeeze something out of it.

Well yesterday I found a Circle K where gas is still below $4 a gallon here. But they said it would be above that when they get their next load. Highest I have seen so far was $4.19, $4.29, and $4.39. Most runs between $4.09 and $4.19.

Got up to 72°F during my ride on Monday. Boy, was it nice.
Here is a couple of shots from Cunningham Park in Milton, about 1/4 mile from the Gov's house (well, at least ONE of them)
and a pond I stumbled accross in Braintree.

Now that last picture of the tree looks like here two months ago. I like the colors when everything is blooming and then hate the pollen as it really makes my sinuses go wild. No more mowing for a while as we are now officially on water conservation mode. Not rationing yet, but it could come according to the news. They have asked people to stop watering their lawns and taking more than one quick shower per day.

Should be in the joke thread but I wanted you to see the picture.
A couple of weeks ago, I was sitting on the patio, drinking beer and watching my wife mow the lawn.
Cheryl from next door saw us and was so upset that she came over and yelled at me....'You lazy prick! Sitting there drinking beer while your poor wife pushes that ancient lawn mower around! Get up off your arse and give her a break!'
I thought '****! ... Women!' Took another swig from my stubby, wiped the cold foam from my lips, lifted my sunnies, stared directly at this nosey cow and told her in no uncertain terms 'Sod off and mind your own business. My wife has green fingers, and she really enjoys gardening'.
After a few days I felt really bad , so I went out and bought her a ride-on mower to show my sensitive side. I am so proud of the deal I got. I am also proud that my wife can now sit down while mowing the lawn. Yes guys, after all we should take good care of our wives ... that way maybe they will take good care of us.

Tru,
It was a Joke. I use my neighbors wife for thise things.
I was walking past the mental hospital the other day, and all the patients were
shouting ,'13....13....13'
The fence was too high to see over, but I saw a little gap in the planks and
looked through to see what was going on.
Some bastard poked me in the eye with a stick.
Then they all started shouting '14....14....14'...

These two young Aggies were walking home from school and they noticed over the summer a tall fence had been put up on the side of the road. They had to investigate so they went over.
The fence was too high to see over so one of them decided to get on his hands and knees and let the other stand on his back to look over the fence.
It worked great.
The one on the bottom says "can you see anything?"
"Yea", says the one looking over the top of the fence. "It looks like a nudist colony"
"REALLY, boys or girls"
"I don't know, they don't have any cloths on"
