Tru,
If that was your weekend you had better start that vacation soon. But be careful where you go as you don't want to be under water or have to run from fire.

Maybe this trip through the 60s he will get it right. You aren't OLD until you can tell first hand stories of what the scientists claim are just folk tales and lore.
Edit: Today is my dental appointment. Just one more hour of freedom and then off to pay to be tortured. Darn, how did 6 months pass so quickly. And NO, Fred, I don't need you to clean my teeth with your drill and wire brush.

If you would have them pulled and then mail them to me,I'd give you a good price on cleaning them.

Thanks, but with the price of postage and the fact the post office up here seems to lose about half of the mail I will just go through the regular misery.
Gee, Warren much be sleeping in or he is trying to figure out a way to avoid admitting this is his birthday.

Gee Ron, someone on the news this morning said that it will take 6 months to a year to put out all of the fires. Time to go visiting friends????

Happy B-day Warren. Take a Cobra ride and scare all the Prius' off the road to celebrate.
Officially the first day of vacation today, I slept in until about 10:00 today. It felt good for a change. I don't know what I am going to do for the next 2 weeks, but I do know I will not be making any plans, just kinda go with the flow and relax.
I did go to the movies on Saturday and saw Wanted. All I can say is MMMMMMM Angelina. Actually it was a good action movie. One of the better ones I have seen. Full of action from the opening to the end.

No I haven't Ron, I don't get out to many movies as I hate being disturbed during the movie. I also hate paying up to $10 per ticket and hating the movie. When I lived in San Diego I used to go to the drive in all the time, but here the only one I know of is an hour drive from me. The wife really wanted to go see this one and I am glad we did. I really enjoyed myself. I usually wait for them to come out on DVD.

I think I saw it advertised.
I heard it was a good movie...certainly worth seeing.
I want to go and see Wanted.

Bucket List is being advertised on Pay For View for $3.95. I like Morgan Freeman and have watched him in many shows. If it is out on DVD then I may get one. I should join Netflix I guess as that way I can just rent them and return them.

I want to watch Bucket list as well. It looks like it is funny. I may order on PPV this week. It cost about the same as renting it.
Tru,
If you like action flicks you can't go wrong with Wanted. I would not even mind paying to see it again and that is something I haven't done since the mid 90s.

The family gave the inlaws Netflixs for a gift, they love it.
Not sure I would get enough time to use NetFlixs, but it seems like a good deal if you are a movie watcher.
Well, I worked on the throttle today. Made it look good and improved my WOT.
Need to get a 3/4 angle iron to fix the pedal stop. That's next.
So, Joe, was it believable or out of touch?????

happy bday, Warren.
also.... i saw the Bucket List on the plane home from France (along with 3 other movies!!!)
it was a wonderful movie. makes jack Nicholson look pretty good. (as a cranky old codger)
the scene with the gt350 was cool. Not very believable, but fun to watch, nonetheless.
we leave for Colorado this week with the girls.
the boys leave for Philmont with Scouts on Thursday. 77 mile hike.
Glad it isn't me!! Peter went two years ago, you might remember, but this will be Graham's first trip.
Peter's Eagle ceremony is early August. Time to get Graham moving along.
he is right where Peter was two years ago... philmont, driver's ed, eagle project, football and lots of activities.
whew!
well ya'll have a good couple of weeks and i'll check in when i can.
ttyl.
