Hey .. to each his own. I love most veggies. What can I say.
Maybe you were attacked by a killer squash when you were just a little kid.
I like squash plain, but I like it even better with the additives. It just gives it a slightly better taste. I got that recipe from my most favorite restaurant. Regrettably, the restaurant closed about a year ago.

Everyone tells me, "You can't even taste it" ...
I have a simple response.
Then why do you eat it?
|
Do you add salt and pepper to anything you eat? Of course you do. I do not use salt, so sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon is my "salt" when I have squash.

You have no idea! I will not go into the reasons I will not eat the stuff!

Of coarse I do I use a lot of seasonings. However there is not enough seasonings on the planet for me to eat that stuff. Your right ..to each his own.

We all have heard the stories of how San Fran,Ca has a major problem with anything military, especialy ships.
They have found a ship they like !
Talks are underway with it's owners to get it's Home Port changed to San Fran.

Fred
Send that boat to Provincetown (out on Cape Cod). That's now the homosexual capital of the world, especially since our great legislators repealed an old law ... now it is legal for out of state homo's to come here and get married.
On the other hand, I'm so happy, I'm so happy! Its not raining and the Dow jumped over 300 points today. I think I'll go for a ride.

I hope they enjoy living in your neighbor and the trip from Texas is/was pleasant.
Been watching your weather for a few weeks now.Looks like your wet weather pattern is like what we had here last summer. It rained everyday for weeks and weeks.

Here again...the thread is off topic.
And those of you that "hate" okra probably did not have it cooked right.
In light of the call to arms, I am proposing you all ask your frogs to enlist in the state frog militia. Frog police and frog in arms will be necessary to handle this up coming invasion.

It is not just that Tru. When I was a kid my step mom used to force food down my throat that I did not like. She would get so forcefull with it I would gag, so now just the taste of any cooked leafy green will cause me to gag and sometimes throw up. Okra, squash, zucchini, eggplant and a few others do the same thing to me.

Joe, had the same experience. I can only say that I am sorry you had it.
Warren, far be it for me to point out that illegal frogs are crossing the boarder. I suspect there is a silver SPF running across the boarder that does not have it's trunk checked.
Warren are you bringing illegal frogs into the US!?!?!?!
That whole turtle thingy was just a cover...wasn't it? What are those illegal frogs paying to get into the US??

UNBELIEVABLE !
The Sister's give him bargain basement prices (3 for 1) but Warren still has to go for the cheap illegal Ho Frogs.
The Sisters are coming out with a new low cost 'Service' that you might find inviting. There will be a T-Shirt line with it proudly advertised too.
Warren you will get the first one.....

Hey, anyone out there (except for Steve and Joe) ... a friend of mine just gave me a big zucchini out of her garden. Anybody got some good recipes?

Warren, Try this recipe
1 Throw the zucchini in the trash
2 Call your favorite local pizza place
3 Enjoy.
