Tru,

This is the worst I have ever seen. And I talked to my cousin in Arkansas yesterday and they are still getting hammered with rain. Warren posted a picture of his Cobra by a puddle of water and I had forgotten what they look like. we have puddles here but they are about 2" deep with powdered dust. It isn't light enough yet for the planes to start but I expect to hear them soon.

Ron,
Winter is just around the corner and with being a little further north, hopefully you will get some cool air and rain soon.

It seems to me they should make a water canal from the Columbia River down your way. There is more fresh water going down that river than any other I know of. When we were there it was frightening just how much fresh water they let drain right out into the Ocean. If they could channel some of that water down to your area you would have all you ever needed.

Steve,

It would be nice if we could get some of that water. They are saying this is going to be another dry Winter. Boy do I ever hope they are wrong. The first spotter plane just flew over so I guess the bombers will be going soon.

Fred,

Just go ahead and take your trip to the Ozarks. My cousin said they have a 3 day drought coming up soon according to their weather reports. It seems half of the country is burning and the other half flooding.

I've got to endue 4 more sunny day with a predicted high temp of 74°F. Then they say we will get 4 day of rain. The weather is definitely coming in bunches.

Last night a fantastic looking 20 something year old girl rode by on her bicycle and looked at the Cobra while I was stopped at a red light and said "Nice". As I was looking her over I said "Ditto", and she said "Thank You and I love your car". I was tempted to say something about a certain part of her bicycle, but discretion prevailed and like a good little boy I said "Thanks". All of this happened while she was behind the car, riding down the street. I turned my head back to see if the light was still red and then I saw her boyfriend or husband who was about 50 feet behind her and he gave me a dirty look ... and all I could do was start to laugh.

Truer words were never spoken.
A lot funnier than some of the crap posted on the joke threads.

Tru is jealous of your getting to take long trips on your motorcycle and the fact that I once had a Cobra. He will be back to normal, (???) once he gets another job. Worry and stress can cause your mind to do weird things that you normally wind up in a mess over. Better send the Ho Sisters up there for a visit to calm him down.

Look like we are going to get mighty wet here in Texas. Hmm, need to get things ready for some smoking high wind and a long drink of water.

Steve,

[quote=4RE KLR;878078]Yea, Look at me, I am living Proof!

Do you want Fred to send the Ho sisters over to help you through the rough times?

Hope the weather doesn't get to bad at your place. I wish we could have some of the rain everyone else is getting but not the hurricanes.

Ron

Steve, I was just reading this morning that they think it may strengthen to a Cat 3 or 4 before hitting the Houston area. Of course that is worst case, but even up here in DFW, we are expected to get a lot. I have to get out and check the lines holding my trees in place before it hits, so they hopefully don't get uprooted.

Ron,
I had a conference with the Ho's & Biker Babe last night to try and figure out where Tru's & Warren's point of view about us comes from.

The only thing we could come up with is that they have spent so much time out on the fringe, they no longer recognize what normal is.
The vote on this came in 4-0,BB voted present.

So Fred, you are trying to say that BB is a post-turtle? Maybe we can rename that joke as a post-Obama?

Read an article this AM and they have at least 5 different Palin action figure dolls, and they are selling as fast as Obama throws people under the bus.

Me, Alfred E Neuman the third, does not do stress. I present the evidence - the front license plate and plate holder on my daily driver.

Joe, do you get trees uprooted?

We usually get that if the surface water is higher than normal allowing the tree to spread it's root out instead of down.

Are these recent trees that were transplanted or ones that have been extablished in their soil for a few years?

Well, the cobra still runs. I have been talking with Brent about a new CAM and think I have the design...now all I need is the money. Isn't that the norm??

Well, I think Warren should be getting wet. Warren great timing and I like that front plate. Is that on the cobra?

Warren,

I like that plate and holder. With a couple of letter changes it could really be good.

Tru,

That is on his daily driver. See his line just above the picture.

Steve & all Texas people,

This was just on my home page headlines when I looked at 7:10 my time. Sounds as if it could be bad for some of you. Best of luck.
