Glad to hear that he is doing that.
I knew he was looking and acting like he did before the surgery.I didn't know if he was recovered enough to go on a long ride though.
Should have known though,he's a tough guy.
Very good news !

Small world.
Yesterday was the first day since before last Spring I wore a long sleeved shirt on a ride, then again today.
I'll be back to a t-shirt very soon, sooner the better.
Maybe that guy will start working towards getting one after seeing and hearing your's.

The mornings here are becoming quite a bit cooler but it is still in the 100/105 range in the afternoons and some days the humidity seems worse than others. Yesterday would have been a good day to go for a drive until around 2 PM and then the humidity kicked in.
All of you enjoy your nice days now. Winter is on the way.

GMW.
Yawn. Time to get up. Or maybe go back to sleep. Decisions, decisions.

Yea, you are up way to early. May as well spend the time working on Turtle until it is warm enough for your daily drive.

WOW, This will be the third day in a row with the hvac turned off !!!
I'm liking this, have the windows open all day long.
I can tolerate wearing a long sleeve shirt for the first part of a ride for these low 80's that come along.

Low 80's? It just got up to 60°F here. Temp supposed to skyrocket all the way to 73°F today.
Ron, I was doing some final sanding on Turtle yesterday and I dropped him. Boy, did he complain when he landed on one of his rear legs and a piece broke off.
Gorilla Glue to the rescue! I guess they have not invented Turtle glue yet. A little more sanding today and I'll start to give him his varnish coats.

Warren,
Sorry to hear about Turtle's misfortune. Gorilla Glue and E-6000 hold most of my stuff together. Once he is all varnished and nice and clean, you should keep him inside and maybe at the window for light and to watch traffic go by. Heck, take him for a ride in the Cobra. I heard Fred was going to let the Ho Sisters use his to drive around in so they can cover more area.

Dang Warren, you were up early.
Well folks, I am going to build cars for a living...for someone else.
I interview and I was desirable. Dang that feels good.

Tru,
Sounds good and I know it is a relief. Remember the Johnny Cash song, One Piece At A Time? Well here may be your chance for a car like that one.

Maybe Crysler. I hear they are going to be having some empty spots soon.
Hey, Tru, I see that you have passed Turk on the post count list.

Ron,
You know anything about this ??
Dear Answerman, I am a cute puppy dog and I have overheard my master talking about getting my wagon
fixed. Can you please provide an alternate solution?
Signed, Cute Pup, Shasta,Ca.
Dear Cute Pup, Long time no hear or bark from you ! Fortunately, there is a fairly new solution to help you with your situation.
So, sit Ron down and tell him this!
Even PETA will tell you plainly that mutilating your pet is wrong. Whether it’s cropping the ears, clipping the tail, or declawing
your ferocious feline; putting your prized pet under the knife to suit your humanly purposes is austerely inhumane.
So with that obvious knowledge in your quiver, why would you even dream of getting your dog spayed or neutered?
Who do you think you are, Bob Barker?
House pets have so little to look forward to in life. Living a domestic existence is hard for them, and unnatural, and it only
serves the purpose of making your life somehow better by filling some unexplainable absence you feel probably because
you don’t have children, but it robs them of everything they know to be the very essence of their nature. They don’t get to
hunt, rove in packs or die from exposure at young ages. Sex is one of the last bastions afforded to domestic animals, and
the act of spaying or neutering your dog can take away their very will to live.
If all you had left in your life was poetry and I bashed you in the head with a rock, thus damaging your brain to the point
you could never again muster a natural sonnet, what would you have left to live for? Now imagine that you’re a dog and
it’s your genitals. Now you might just understand the benefits of Dog Condoms™ over neutering.
At the same time, though, you don’t exactly want Astro fathering an illegitimate litter twice a year, because that would
only make the American pet crisis worse. Surely there must be a solution somewhere in between, right? In a perfect world
you’d find something that is humane, yet dignified; and fair, yet agreeable.
Wish and dream no more. Now there is just such a solution, and we’ve made it affordable too.
Dog Condoms allow you to keep your puppy peppering the powerful dog spunk that makes him who he is without the
typical regret so often associated with humping mutt-style neighborhood *****es. You don’t have to pay the outrageous
costs the veterinarian so unapologetically charges for his indifferently applied services, but you can still stem the tsunami
of unwanted puppies that result from horrible situations like dog fighting or canine food stuffs.
Some have pointed out that it is indeed a little bit of extra work, but the application of the Dog Condom is fairly straightforward,
and 99.9% effective, when used properly. Now man’s best friend can enjoy the best of both worlds as he keeps
his natural hormone levels, libido and testicles, while not contributing to the growing problem of Stray Dog Syndrome so
prevalent throughout the United States, most specifically the southern and poor parts of it.
So if you ask “Why Dog Condoms?” I ask you right back, “How could you dream of any other solution, now that you
know this easy, affordable remedy exists?”

It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.
